The 5 Best Dentists in Nashville for Smiles That Actually Shine

best-dentists-nashville
We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Range of Services: I looked at the variety of treatments each clinic offers. Offices that offer everything from routine cleanings to advanced dental care scored higher because they can address more of your needs in one place.

Scheduling Flexibility: I know it is not always easy to fit a dental appointment into a busy day. That's why I gave extra points to clinics that offer early morning visits, weekend appointments, or emergency care when needed.

Patient Comfort: I understand that many people feel nervous about going to the dentist. I looked for offices that help patients feel more relaxed through welcoming spaces, comfort-focused care, and modern tools that can make treatment easier.

Location and Access: I also considered how easy each clinic is to visit. Factors like location, parking, and how easy it is to get in and out helped me decide which offices were most convenient.

Finding a dentist you trust should be easy. The right dental office can help make regular checkups, cosmetic treatments, and even visits for anxious patients feel much less stressful.

If you need a kids dentist who puts children at ease or are thinking about getting braces to improve your smile, this guide covers some of Nashville’s best local practices and what makes them unique.

Address: 2125 Blakemore Ave

Contact: 615-383-3690

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM

Tired of bouncing between different dental offices? Dentistry of Nashville makes things simple by offering nearly every service under one roof! Here, you can get most treatments in one place without needing referrals.

Notably, this clinic has served patients for generations while still using advanced tools such as same-day crowns.

I recently visited them for jaw discomfort, and the care felt very focused and reassuring. I also appreciate their laser treatments for gum issues, which make recovery much easier than with traditional methods.

The only drawback is scheduling, since they’re closed on Fridays and weekends, and the area can get busy during peak traffic hours near Vanderbilt.

Pros

  • Long-standing trusted reputation
  • Same-day crown technology
  • Laser gum treatment options
  • Full in-house services

Cons

  • Closed Friday to Sunday
  • Heavy traffic area

Able to work me into the schedule quickly

I had a problem with a tooth that needed attention right away.  They were able to work me into the schedule quickly.  Everyone was cheerful and professional.  I am glad to be a patient at Dentistry  of Nashville.

Genuine people caring about your health, wellness, and teeth!

As an avid dentist hater – this is the only place I will show up to. Other places may have flashy furniture, TVs in the ceiling, branded swag bags, etc. but I don’t care about any of that. I want a gentle hygienist who meets my crippling anxiety with grace, and that’s exactly what Tristen does. I’ve been going here for years now and have never felt like they pushed services on me or dismissed my concerns. Just genuine people caring about your health, wellness, and teeth! Thankful for this crew.

Contact: 615-678-8965 / [email protected]

Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | Saturday, 8:00 AM-2:00 PM

When a dental emergency hits, Smiles Up Dentistry is one of the most reliable options in Nashville because it focuses heavily on urgent care and rapid response.

Even better, they also offer patients access to Saturday appointments and emergency support, which is helpful if pain occurs outside normal hours. They even have a direct emergency line, so you don’t have to wait for help.

The clinic handles treatments like root canals and oral surgery in-house, making the process faster and less stressful. Parking is also easy in Midtown, which helps a lot.

However, they don’t offer Monday appointments, and the environment can feel busy because they prioritize urgent cases over slow, routine visits.

Pros

  • Strong emergency dental care
  • Saturday availability
  • In-house major treatments
  • Easy Midtown parking

Cons

  • No Monday routine visits
  • Fast-paced environment

Smiles Up Nashville overall 10 out of 10!

They’ve also been serving the community for decades. I particularly like how they focus on keeping treatments simple and comfortable. They even offer flexible payment plans for uninsured patients!

The downside is limited Saturday care and a location that can be hard to reach, depending on traffic along Nolensville Pike.

Cons

  • Limited Saturday care
  • Traffic-heavy location

Services were provided in a very professional manner

I was greeted and taken back on time based on my appointment. My services were provided in a very professional manner and with great compassion. When a challenge was presented Dr. Huey Newberry came in for a consult and together we discussed and agreed upon appropriate next steps. I felt heard, seen and serviced.

Thorough while cleaning and very informative

Donna is the best hands down!! I won’t go to anyone but her because she is very thorough while cleaning and very informative when going you info about your teeth. She is a great asset to the company.

Another thing I like is their flexibility because they offer both cosmetic dentistry and sleep apnea treatments, so you can get a range of care in one place.

The downside is their short working hours, since they close at 3 PM and aren’t open on Fridays. Parking and traffic in Midtown can also be a bit of a hassle.

Thorough and incredibly transparent on pricing

I am so grateful to have found Midtown Smiles within weeks of moving to Nashville. I’ve had everything from cosmetic to reconstructive work to general cleanings done by Dr. Watson and his team, and I cannot sing their praises enough. The entire practice is thorough and incredibly transparent on pricing. I literally recommend this practice to everyone I know 🙂

Commitment to prioritizing patients

Midtown Smiles is simply outstanding. I’ve never encountered a team more dedicated to customer care. They go above and beyond to make every visit seamless, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming. Their commitment to prioritizing patients shows in everything they do, and the level of consistency is unmatched. If you’re looking for a dental team you can trust wholeheartedly, I couldn’t recommend Midtown Smiles more highly.

They also provide cosmetic services like Invisalign and Botox, so you can handle both dental and aesthetic care in one place.

When I accompanied my aunt here, I appreciated the overall atmosphere, which felt modern and clean. Also, the experience was very comfortable from start to finish.

The facility is modern, clean and comfy

A first class operation. I received immediate reply via their online inquiry link. Setting up an appt was efficient. They followed up and stayed in contact regarding my appt. The facility is modern, clean and comfy. Chastiny was my hygenist with great care for my sensitive teeth. Dr Harris along with Cory gave a great and friendly exam. I HATE dental work and this visit put me at ease. I signed up for another appt and I  Highly recommend
