No Boring Ballrooms Here: The 5 Best Banquet Halls in Nashville

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Venue Aesthetics: We checked design details to see if the space creates a memorable backdrop. Finding a spot that needs hardly any extra decorating saves you time and money.

Room Flow: We notice how easily a venue shifts from a ceremony right into a reception. Adaptable floor plans usually help keep your guests comfortable all night long.

Package Inclusions: It helps to know what comes standard with your rental fee, like furniture, audiovisual equipment, or a dedicated room to get ready in. Places offering full packages often mean you won't have to juggle as many outside vendors.

Value and Accessibility: Balancing the overall cost with how many people fit inside and how easy it is to get there makes a big difference. Clear pricing and a decent place to park usually lead to a much smoother planning experience.

Staring at endless photos of beige, windowless hotel basements is enough to drain the excitement out of any event planner.

I know firsthand how stressful venue hunting can be. It’s hard to look for a space that feels genuinely special, fits your budget, and accommodates your guest list comfortably.

Luckily, this city is packed with amazing spaces. From cozy mid-century creative hub to massive 1889 historic sanctuary, there’s a banquet hall that can fit your event

To save you from tired ballroom cliches, our team set out to find the best banquet halls in Nashville. This guide breaks down exactly what makes these options unique and points out a few possible downsides along the way.

1. Hotel Fraye Nashville, Curio Collection by Hilton

Address: 1810 Broadway

Contact: (615) 321-1007 | [email protected]

Schedule: Available 24/7

Hotel Fraye gives you a genuinely unique design that captures real Nashville culture right when you walk in.

We attended a corporate dinner here recently, and the floor-to-ceiling windows poured in so much gorgeous natural light. You’ll completely escape that claustrophobic, windowless basement feeling most hotels give you.

Plus, their culinary team crafts custom menus for your crowd, so you get to skip the standard buffet lines.

You also get access to top-tier audio/visual equipment handled by a dedicated tech crew.

On top of that, it’s a nice bonus that booking this spot lets you earn Hilton Honors points on your event spend.

That said, their largest single room caps at 3,000 square feet. This size limitation might force you to look elsewhere if you plan to host a massive crowd.

They also primarily use valet parking, which can add a bit of wait time for your local guests heading home.

Pros

  • Versatile event footprint
  • Creative on-site catering
  • Hilton Honors event credits
  • High-end audio/visual capabilities

Cons

  • Limited maximum capacity
  • Valet-only parking service

Customer Reviews

Luxury awaits you!
As you open the doors to Hotel Fraye, luxury awaits you! This boutique hotel has made its mark in midtown! The staff is very accommodating, our room was very clean and we were able to make it our home for 4 days as we hosted an event in one of the hotel’s event spaces. Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy on the breakfast menu! So so good!!! We look forward to experiencing even more of the hotel and services next year!

2. Noa Nashville

Address: 228 South 10th Street

Contact: (615) 258-7699 | [email protected]

Schedule: By Appointment Only

You rarely find a space that feels fully decorated the moment you step inside. Noa Nashville shines with a curated mid-century modern look, pairing vintage pieces right alongside contemporary furniture so you can skip the heavy decorating.

The venue serves as a real hub for the local creative community, offering an authentic, welcoming neighborhood vibe. The flexible layout lets you easily shift from an intimate seated dinner straight into a standing reception.

With an open vendor policy, you can easily bring in your favorite event planners and outside caterers to keep everything within your specific budget.

Their direct online booking system even shows you real-time availability, saving you from lengthy email chains.

Just remember this property caters mostly to intimate gatherings. If you need a massive hall for a huge gala, this footprint will definitely feel too tight.

Also, daytime parking in this trendy area might be a little tricky for your guests.

Pros

  • Versatile indoor and outdoor service
  • Inclusive high-end furnishings
  • Open vendor policy
  • In-house production capabilities

Cons

  • Capacity limitations for large groups
  • Daytime parking constraints

Great for families or group gatherings
NOA Nashville is a great for families or group gatherings. We enjoyed the gym, sauna, pool, and courtyard for activities. The townhouse was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. Having many restaurants within walking distance was a bonus. It’s a great option for a family visit to Nashville.

Everybody would have somewhere to stay
The entire time that I’ve spent at NOA, I keep thinking….someone could rent this entire property out for their wedding! Everybody would have somewhere to stay. The kids would have a pool. There is a pool side bar, sauna, cold plung, work out facilities. Plenty of room for a rehearsal dinner and or ceremony in the courtyard. And it’s walking distance to Five Points (look it up if you aren’t from Nashville).

3. Clementine Hall

Address: 4710 Charlotte Avenue

Contact: (615) 800-3635 | [email protected]

Schedule:

  • Mon-Thurs 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Fri-Sun 10:00 AM – 12:00 AM

Step inside this venue, and you immediately feel the impact of its incredible design. Clementine Hall sets sleek modern touches inside the stunning historic architecture of an 1889 sanctuary.

We recently chatted with a bride who booked this spot, and she absolutely loved having two distinct primary spaces. Having both options means you can easily host a ceremony and reception without the stress of a massive room flip.

The building comes fully equipped with a huge LED video wall, professional concert lighting, and high-fidelity audio. Your guests can even hang out in a private outdoor courtyard that flows seamlessly right into the indoor spaces.

Keep in mind that this historic Sylvan Park location relies heavily on local lots and street parking. Finding a spot can be a slight headache for very large groups.

You’ll also have to handle all the vendor coordination yourself, since they don’t offer an all-inclusive catering model.

Pros

  • Massive guest capacity
  • Expansive indoor and outdoor flow
  • Professional in-house furniture
  • Dedicated performance stage

Cons

  • Street and lot parking limitations
  • Mandatory vendor coordination

Highly recommend Clementine Hall for any occasion!
We had our office Christmas party this past December and it was a hit! I had multiple comments on how beautiful the venue is and how much space there is. The staff was great to work with from the very beginning. I would highly recommend Clementine Hall for any occasion!

Absolutely perfect space for our wedding!
Absolutely perfect space for our wedding! We had about 140 guests and the space was more than accommodating for that number of people. Everyone could not stop gushing over the charm of the venue and the immaculate vibes! If I had to do it over again, I wouldn’t change a single thing!

4. Coco’s Event Center

Website: https://www.catering-nashvilletn.com/

Address: 5105 Alabama Avenue

Contact: (615)-336-7982 | [email protected]

Schedule:

  • Mon-Fri: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Office)
  • Daily 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Banquet Availability)

Booking a beautiful room usually means stressing about food logistics later. Coco’s Event Center solves this right away by teaming up with a local staple to offer amazing on-site Italian catering.

The main room features high ceilings draped in glowing market-style lights, giving you a rustic elegance that requires zero extra spending on decor.

Guests can easily flow between the 150-person indoor hall and a lush outdoor patio. The all-inclusive service covers tables, chairs, projection gear, and a sound system to take a huge weight off your shoulders.

The space strictly caps at 150 guests, though, so huge galas aren’t an option.

Their heavy focus on Italian cuisine might also restrict you if you specifically want an Asian restaurant vibe or a completely different culinary theme.

Pros

  • Prime West Nashville location
  • Scenic multi-use courtyard
  • Flexible interior layouts
  • Established local reliability

Cons

  • Maximum guest capacity ceiling
  • Specialized cuisine focus

Customer Reviews

The evening was a complete success
Coco’s and its event coordinator did an outstanding job for us as we hosted our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner. Rachel and Carmen were very accommodating to our needs to decorate and set up the event center. The food was superb. The evening was a complete success, both beautiful and delicious.

5. The Bedford Nashville Event Venue

the-bedford-nashville-event-venue

Website: https://www.thebedfordnash.com/

Address: 4319 Sidco Drive

Contact: (615) 834.0052 | [email protected]

Schedule:

  • Mon-Tue, Thurs-Fri 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Weds 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Vintage character usually means giving up modern reliability, but this space truly gives you the best of both worlds. The Bedford shines through its authentic 1920s architecture, showing off original brick walls and massive arched windows.

But don’t be fooled by its boutique charm, as this venue easily handles up to 400 guests for a lively cocktail event.

Your rental also includes access to two distinct luxury suites, giving you plenty of private rooms to get ready.

On top of that, an integrated outdoor courtyard connects directly to the main hall, offering an open-air option right in the city.

Throughout the property, you’ll find highly updated amenities right alongside that gorgeous historic look.

One thing to note is their preferred catering restriction. You’ve got to pick a food provider from their curated list instead of bringing in whoever you want.

The multi-area layout might also take a little extra effort to coordinate as guests move around throughout the night.

Pros

  • Massive capacity for large events
  • Incredible natural light
  • Versatile indoor and outdoor flow
  • Private preparation spaces

Cons

  • Preferred catering restrictions
  • Multi-area layout logistics

Don’t hesitate to book Bedford for an event!
My husband and I threw a party here last Friday with 175 people. All the guests were WOWING on the venue and how awesome it was. Such a great place to host an event. So much character too to make pictures incredible. Plenty of parking, easy to get to, and amazing staff! Don’t hesitate to book Bedford for an event!

A unique and warm space
My company hosted a retirement party at The Bedford and it was fantastic! The venue and the staff are wonderful. We had more than 400 people and the space was perfect. People had plenty of room to mingle around. We brought in minimal decor and the space looked great! I really enjoy the exposed brick and beautiful chandeliers. It is a unique and warm space and great access from the interstate.
