Knowledgeable and helpful
The piercers at icon are what made me realize it actually matters where you get your piercings done. Ngl before I thought you know a hole is a hole to some extent. But I came to icon to have an infected piercing done by someone else checked out and they were so knowledgeable and helpful. They took my piercing out, gave me advice on how to care for it and better options for replacing it once it was healed. Would highly recommend.

The team also knows how to put nervous clients at ease, especially during pediatric piercings. Their no-restraint policy helps ensure the experience stays positive and consensual for every child.
Another practical plus is that standard medical-grade titanium jewelry is already included in the base piercing price.
There are a couple of things to keep in mind, though. The studio is not a current APP member, and its official aftercare guide recommends rotating jewelry with homemade saltwater.
And since modern piercing standards generally discourage twisting fresh piercings to avoid irritating the tissue, you may prefer to use a sterile saline spray instead.

Dixie (owner) has been my primary piercer for almost three consecutive years now, and I absolutely adore her, and QOH! I’ve had multiple piercings from multiple different staff members, and every time I feel so cared for and well taken care of. I got my snake bites 2 weeks ago done by Dixie and just had the bars shortened yesterday. Everything went great and the pain was manageable when I first got them along with the changeout. I definitely recommend them! Everything was very organized and they clean after every customer. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always have a smile for you. I had only ever gone to Claire’s to get my ears done as a kid, and this was a much better experience. I just got a 2nd lobe piercing on each side. I can update once I am healed but so far I am doing fabulous.
