We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Style and Curation: We looked at the overall aesthetic of each shop. We wanted stores offering unique items that stand out from mass-market brands.

Customer Service: Friendly and helpful staff make a huge difference. We prioritized places where shoppers get personalized styling advice without feeling pressured.

Price and Value: A good wardrobe shouldn't always break the bank. We found options ranging from affordable, trendy pieces to higher-end investment garments.

Location and Vibe: Shopping should be a fun and relaxing experience. We chose stores situated in walkable neighborhoods that offer a great atmosphere.

Finding the right boutique in Nashville feels like a fun treasure hunt because our city is full of big retail chains and tourist-heavy spots. The real magic happens when you step into a locally owned shop, though.

With the options in Music City, whether you need a killer outfit for a bachelorette party or a unique gift for a friend, you’re covered.

I actually love exploring these hidden gems because they offer clothes that actually fit your personal style instead of the usual mass-produced options.

So, let me share my top picks for finding those perfect wardrobe staples right here in town.

How much does boutique clothing cost in Nashville?

Shopping for boutique clothing in Nashville typically costs anywhere from $40 to over $200, depending on the designer and the specific item.

Address: 606 12th Ave S

Contact: (615) 401-9599

Hours: Monday to Saturday 10 AM–7 PM; Sunday, 12–6 PM

Blush Boutique bridges the gap between high-fashion trends and affordable pricing for everyday shoppers.

They curate a wide mix of trendy apparel and accessories that really capture that classic Nashville vibe, making it easy to pull together cute looks for a night out or polished basics for daily wear.

Shopping here is also pretty convenient since they run a direct-message model on Instagram. You can just DM them to hold an item or have it shipped straight to your door

Plus, the staff is always ready to help you coordinate outfits, whether in-store or online.

However, you have to be careful with their strict 10-day return policy for store credit only. Sizing can also be hit-or-miss, especially during busy tourist weekends, when popular pieces sell out fast, and the racks in The Gulch get picked over quickly.

Pros

  • Affordable trendy clothing
  • Prime Gulch location
  • Convenient Instagram shopping
  • Personalized styling help
  • Fun Secret Shopper perks

Cons

  •
  • Sizes for popular designs sell fast

Very courteous

The sales associate -was very courteous . I had a 10 dollar coupon for my birthday —last summer the reps working there were pretty unbearable -gossiped and talked to boys on phone —opposite experience to day and I likes seeing some more intimate clothing —need more medium clothing ( either sales more or stock less I’m not sure but there were plenty of large) one of the best experiences—hope she stays she went above and beyond

Blush has a great selection of clothes

Blush has a great selection of clothes for all different occasions, from business to party outfits!  They have lots of cute accessories, trinkets, and smaller items scattered around the store that are fun to come across while browsing. The staff is awesome and always so friendly, I love stopping in by myself and taking friends here!

Website: http://www.hollieray.com/

Address: 5020 Broadway

Contact: (615) 579-0440

Hours: Monday to Saturday 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Sunday 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Hollie Ray Boutique focuses on highly wearable clothing that transitions from morning meetings to date nights. Here, they emphasize comfortable fabrics and flattering silhouettes for women in all stages of life.

The shop carries a great mix of well-known brands and exclusive in-house designs, too.

I recently bought a pair of Kut from the Kloth jeans here, and the smoothing tummy panels made them instantly become my favorite pants. The staff went out of their way to find my exact size in the back room.

Their customer service truly feels like having a personal stylist without needing an appointment.

On the downside, their 7-day exchange window for in-store purchases is pretty restrictive.

The shop can also get loud and crowded because it’s right in the middle of downtown, so that’s worth considering if you’re sensitive to those things.

Pros

  • Highly versatile clothing
  •
  • Inclusive size ranges
  • Personal stylist experience
  • Exclusive in-house designs

Cons

  •
  • Gets crowded during peak hours

What a great store

What a great store. Fabulous selection and quality at moderate prices!!  I was in a mission for something specific. Three different people jumped into help and “ta da” we found it. I will go back tomorrow to shop for the sake of shopping. Thank you “Team Holly Ray”

10 out of 10

Mariah at the Nashville store was so incredibly helpful. I had recently destroyed a shirt my wife had purchased at Hollie Ray on a birthday trip to Nashville and Mariah went above and beyond to not only get me the only sizes left however she also transcribed a note to include in the package of shirts to my wife to make up for my mistake. 10 out of 10 customer experience and would highly recommend.

You’ll find casually edgy designer clothing with a subtle rock ‘n’ roll vibe here, along with an impressive selection of artisan jewelry that keeps locals coming back.

Just be prepared for the higher price tags that come with it. If you’re shopping on a budget, graphic tees priced above $60 may feel a bit expensive.

Some customers have also mentioned that the online return process is fairly inflexible.

  • Unique artisan jewelry
  • Cool historic building
  •
  • Nashville native ownership

Moda is my favorite Nashville boutique

Moda is my favorite Nashville boutique!! Not only does it have the cutest clothes/jewlery/housegoods/accessories/baby gear..the staff is incredible.  They are so sweet, helpful and accommodating.  If they don’t have something in your size they will quickly get it ordered.  They have such a unique selection and their prices are so great.  Def a must when shopping in Nashville!!

Have a great selection of products

I purchased a beautiful necklace for my wife for our anniversary. The owner went above and beyond and reached out to me personally to make sure I would receive the necklace in time. She even worked with the jeweler to get it to me much faster than expected. I highly recommend shopping here, they have a great selection of products and unbelievably good customer service.

Tucked away from the busy downtown tourist crowds, the shop has a cozy neighborhood feel that makes browsing more relaxed.

Alongside the apparel, you’ll find artisanal soaps and locally made vintage jewelry, which makes it an easy stop for thoughtful gifts. The staff is also friendly and never pressures you into buying anything you don’t love.

The only downside is that the boutique has shorter operating hours than many other shops, especially on Sundays when it closes quite early. It also follows the standard policy of offering store credit instead of full refunds.

Pros

  •
  • Cohesive neutral aesthetic
  • Relaxed neighborhood vibe
  •
  • Non-pushy customer service

Cons

  •
  • Limited Sunday hours

I love the “neutral” selections

Elle Gray Boutique is the best locally-owned retail store in Nashville! It’s your one-stop shop, and I love the “neutral” selections! Chyna, the owner, is so helpful and hand-selects every piece of clothing to ensure its quality & feel. A must-go for visitors and locals alike!

Love this local spot

Love this local spot! They’ve got everything from cocktail dresses and jean shorts to handbags and sunglasses! Found some great summer staples that I get complimented on every time I wear them. They gave me honest feedback when I tried things on and suggested items I never would have thought to try! Excited to get my fall wardrobe!

5. Serendipity

Website: http://www.serendipity12th.com/

Address: 2814 12th Ave South

Contact: 615-279-5570

Hours: Monday to Friday, Sunday 10 AM–6 PM; Saturday, 10 AM–7 PM

Serendipity is known for its quirky mix of novelty gifts and its long history in the Nashville community. It has been around for over 25 years and earned repeated local awards as one of the city’s best gift shops

Inside, you’ll find a fun range of items, from women’s clothing and handmade jewelry to playful pop culture prayer candles. They even carry higher-end children’s toys, making it a surprisingly versatile stop for the whole family.

The store also makes shopping easier with online ordering and curbside pickup.

But here’s the catch: you’ll definitely face major parking shortages and heavy foot traffic in the popular 12 South district. The shop itself can feel quite cramped when tourists flock in during the weekends.

You’ll also notice prices are on the higher side, with a noticeable boutique markup on simple novelty items like graphic tees compared to regular retail stores.

Pros

  • Established local authority
  •
  • Diverse product range
  • Prime 12 South location

Cons

  • Severe parking shortages
  •
  • Cramped store layout

They carry a wonderful variety of unique and interesting items

I was in town before the holiday and met up with a friend. We both love this area, and I told her I wanted to check out Serendipity. I can confidently say that every time I’m in the area, I’ll be stopping by to see what this fantastic shop has in store. They carry a wonderful variety of unique and interesting items—you never know what great find you’ll come across.

The shop is very small but packed full of items

A cute boutique great for finding unique gifts or just treating yourself to some things. I got some magnets, stickers, a small pill box case, and a collection of cat jokes. The inside of the shop is very small but packed full of items. Glad I checked it out!
