Hours: Breakfast A la Carte: Monday to Friday 6:30AM–2:00PM | Saturday to Sunday 7:00AM–2:00PM | Buffet: Friday to Sunday 7:00AM–2:00PM | Lunch Menu: Daily 11:00AM–2:00PM

Stepping into this downtown spot feels like visiting a stylish, antique-filled Southern home. That’s largely because they specialize in sustainable plates crafted from generation-spanning family recipes.

The interior design pays homage to Music City with unique finds sourced right from local antique shops. The ambiance here creates a fantastic vibe for weekend mornings.

I recently took my family to Kitchen Notes for Sunday brunch, and we were immediately captivated by the signature biscuit bar. It continuously serves freshly made Southern staples until the afternoon.

The culinary staff is also incredibly accommodating, readily altering dishes to ensure guests with food sensitivities can safely indulge.

Keep in mind that dinner here is entirely off the table, as the kitchen strictly focuses on breakfast and lunch. Families should also note that any child over thirteen is charged the full adult rate, which can quickly hike up the bill.

Pros

  • Custom event menus with an in-house coordinator
  • Intimate “Quarter Note” room for private gatherings
  • Daily in-room delivery for hotel guests
  • Access to professional audio/visual services

Cons

  • Adult pricing is enforced for young teens
  • No evening service available

Customer Reviews

Hands down the best breakfast buffet I have ever had in my life. Stone cheese grits were amazing. Cast iron pancake delicious. The biscuits were melt in your mouth delicious. Great coffee and coffee to go offered. Bacon was perfectly cooked along with the most delicious sausage links and patties. Will be back again and again.

Amazing Thanksgiving Buffet. Everything from the appetizers and salads to the main courses were delicious.  The desserts were plentiful in selection and two were unique (as I have never seen them before). Complimentary valet parking. Very attentive and friendly service.

2. Adele’s

adele-s

Website: adelesrestaurant.com
Address: 1210 McGavock St
Contact: 615-988-9700 | [email protected]
Hours: Dinner: Sunday to Thursday 5:00PM–9:00PM | Friday to Saturday 5:00PM–10:00PM | Happy Hour: Monday to Thursday 4:00PM–6:00PM | Weekend Brunch Buffet: Saturday to Sunday 9:30AM–2:00PM

Adele’s casually sophisticated venue prioritizes environmental sustainability by partnering with local farmers. They source high-quality ingredients locally, which leads to noticeably fresher food.

This helps them stand out among other restaurants in the city. You can really taste the farm-to-table difference in every bite.

The venue is uniquely housed in a former auto repair garage in the vibrant Gulch neighborhood. This dynamic atmosphere is heightened by an open kitchen layout and a dedicated chef’s counter, alongside a heated outdoor patio for al fresco dining.

While the food is undoubtedly fantastic, securing a fully private room during their expansive weekend brunch is heavily limited due to layout logistics.

It’s also important to know that an 18% gratuity is automatically added to the bill for any party with six or more people, so plan your group budget accordingly.

Pros

  • Strategic neighborhood access near Lower Broadway
  • Dedicated private dining areas for events
  • Rotating bartender-crafted martini specials
  • Inclusive kids’ buffet package with beverage

Cons

  • Mandatory 18% gratuity for large parties
  • Severely limited private spaces during brunch

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! Love the buffet style serving. Came here for brunch and WELL WORTH IT! Food was amazing….like absolutely amazing. Drinks were great as well. Wife had the breakfast bourbon (I suggest it) and I had some Honetbliss Tea (Delicious). The salads were designed to perfection, the eggs, the meat, the food in general was all made to perfection. Desert….do not get me started. Just do yourself a favor and come here while in Nashville. Will not disappoint! Kimberly provided exceptional service this morning/noon

This place was amazing! The brunch buffet food was fresh and tasty. The line went pretty quickly too. The best were the shrimps and grits and the kale salad. 32$ per person, which I think is slightly reasonable. Fresh orange  juice too! Great service and atmosphere. It was loud, but I was able to hear others and talk. Would come again!

They constantly update their food offerings by combining beloved staple dishes with new, time-sensitive promotions. This guarantees that returning diners always have something fresh to discover.

I grabbed lunch here recently to see how their famous dessert station holds up, and the dedicated salad bar and baked goods truly hit the spot without breaking the bank.

Plus, the restaurant has a loyalty app that rewards frequent diners. Just be aware that banked monetary rewards expire automatically if untouched within a twelve-month window.

Additionally, points can’t be earned or spent on bulk event orders, completely excluding catering benefits.

Customer Reviews

Food was great. Hot!! Always nice to go to a buffet and the food is hot and not like warm, dried and shriveled. Service was good. Even with as busy as they were. Noise level was off the charts though. Hard to hear the people we were sitting with. Overall great visit. We will be back.

Good Food, Buffet style, couldn’t be a food you would be looking for that almost isn’t always represented here. So many different varieties of foods. If you have kids that are picky eaters I believe you should be able to find something all the food options they offer here that should satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.

  • Advance dietary adjustments for health restrictions

Cons

  • Manual email booking required for massive parties

We had breakfast here while staying in the hotel. My boyfriend loved the buffet and I got the eggs Benedict (by far the best eggs I’ve had in my life). But Emily was amazing, she was so sweet and attentive. And she makes a killer iced vanilla oat milk latte! Thanks!
