Top 5 Salons for Quality Pet Grooming in Nashville

top-pet-grooming-nashville
We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Pricing Transparency: Clear upfront costs without hidden fees make a huge difference. Knowing exactly what you’ll pay before dropping off your dog is essential for stress-free booking.

Hygiene Standards: Basic surface wiping isn't enough when dealing with pet messes. Salons that deeply sanitize their grooming stations and utilize eco-friendly pet shampoos scored much higher on our list.

Customer Guarantees: A clear satisfaction promise shows a business respects your time and money. We checked if the groomers stand by their work by offering to adjust a cut if it doesn't match your request.

Booking Convenience: Streamlined digital scheduling saves everyone time. Busy pet parents need to schedule appointments quickly without playing frustrating games of phone tag.

Finding a groomer who treats your furry best friend like family requires absolute trust in their skills and compassion.

That’s because no two pets have the exact same comfort level on the grooming table. Anxious rescues need a gentle touch, while giant mastiffs who still think they’re lap dogs require a bit more confident handling.

Overcoming that stress is what drove our entire selection process. As a pet parent who has worried over a few bad grooming experiences in the past, I knew I had to dig deeper.

Rather than relying on basic star ratings, we evaluated local salons and mobile spas to identify the ones delivering calm, attentive care. We closely observed their handling techniques and directly inspected the cleanliness of their facilities.

By focusing on verifiable practices, we narrowed down salons with the best pet grooming in Nashville.

How much does pet grooming cost in Nashville?

Pet grooming in Nashville varies, starting from $60 for quick baths for puppies, to $150+ for specialized cuts. They’re dependent on your dog’s size, breed, and the type of service you choose.

Service / Pet TypeEstimated Cost
Average Grooming Session$75 – $150
Quick Bath Package (e.g., puppies)~$60
Full-Service Grooming (Small Dog)$90 – $100
Large Dog or Specialized Cut$150+

1. Furry Land Nashville

furry-land-nashville

Website: https://furryland.us/locations/nashville-mobile-pet-groomers/

Address: 1338 Lewis Street

Contact: (629) 777-5331

Schedule:

  • Mon-Fri 5:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Sat-Sun 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Furry Land Nashville parks a fully equipped grooming van right in your driveway, saving you a trip across town. The groomers here work one-on-one with your animal in a quiet, cage-free space to minimize anxiety.

Once your pet is calm and relaxed, they can actually start enjoying the spa-like treatments on board. Every standard session features a heated hydrobath and a thorough blowout.

I love that instead of turning away larger pets, their team accommodates cats and giant dog breeds weighing over 110 pounds.

The booking process is also just as accommodating as the physical space. Scheduling happens entirely online, and text updates keep you informed while the groomer works outside your house.

But before you lock in that appointment, you need to know how their pricing actually works.

Although the mobile setup saves considerable time, initial quotes serve only as starting points. Your final bill can fluctuate based on your pet’s coat condition, matting, or behavior upon arrival.

Still, skipping the salon waiting room makes this a highly practical choice for furparents with busy schedules.

Pros

  • Commute eliminated by mobile service
  • Standard packages include baths and blowouts
  • Welcomes cats and giant dog breeds
  • Online scheduling with text notifications

Cons

  • Final price depends on the coat’s condition or behavior

They have quickly become our go-to!!
They were so sweet with our pup and it was nice to have them come to us! We moved to Nashville not too long ago and found that a lot of groomers were insanely expensive. Additionally, our pup is a doodle and a lot of groomers either turn him into a rat or a standard poodle – Furry Land is fairly priced and does an amazing job (he looks like himself but better)! They have quickly become our go-to!!

Thanks for offering services to the cat community! 😻
It’s hard to find a cat groomer and even harder to find a mobile one. I used to use Aussie Pet Mobile for grooming my last cat, but when I needed to book for my new kitty I was sad to see that they were no longer offering services in this area. Luckily I found Furryland and Sabrina. She was fantastic. She was able to work me in sooner and did a great job with Junebug’s first hair cut. We’ve already booked our next appointment. Thanks for offering services to the cat community! 😻

2. Nashville Pet Salon

nashville-pet-salon

Website: https://www.nashvillepetsalon.com/

Address: 2704 Larmon Avenue

Contact: (615) 730-6500 | [email protected]

Schedule: Mon-Sat 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Nashville Pet Salon demonstrates its focus on safety by maintaining a quiet floor and washing every animal with premium organic shampoos. That calm environment is especially important when dealing with dogs who need a little extra patience.

Their groomers can actively accommodate senior dogs and pets with specific behavioral needs. When I brought my anxious terrier mix in last month, the staff took the time to work at his pace until he relaxed.

Once the grooming is done and your dog is happy, the checkout process is just as stress-free. Because the salon keeps a payment card on file, you can bypass the register entirely. You just grab your freshly groomed pet and walk right out.

While their grooming experience is gentle, the scheduling rules are firm. Securing a permanent recurring spot requires you to complete a formal application.

A strict ten-minute grace period applies to all arrivals, too. Missing this window means an automatic cancellation.

Pros

  • Quiet environment with premium organic shampoos
  • Actively accommodates senior and special-needs pets
  • Staff works patiently at the animal’s pace
  • Card on file allows for register-free checkout

Cons

  • Formal application needed for recurring spots
  • Appointments canceled after a 10-minute delay

We will definitely be back
This was my first visit to NPS.  It was a great experience.  Their salon is very clean.  Employees are knowledgeable and communicate well.  AND…my sweet Bailey looks so handsome!  We will definitely be back.

They do a nice job
been taking my two dogs here for a bit they do a nice job, what really impressed me was that during one bath a hair probably got into one dog’s eye and it was pretty irritated. one of the staff members told me about it at pickup and promised to take care of any vet bills (which weren’t needed).

it was a classy move from a small biz owner, especially knowing that it might have been a few hundred bucks. much appreciated.

3. The Pampered Pooch Pet Spa & Resort

Website: https://thepamperedpooch.info/

Address: 5570 Nolensville Pike

Contact: (615) 604-0052 | [email protected]

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

The Pampered Pooch Pet Spa & Resort pairs luxury grooming with 24-hour boarding. When they say luxury, they mean it, starting with some seriously elite nail salon or spa-like upgrades to the basics.

Pets here receive a blueberry facial in every standard bath. The groomers massage a tearless, exfoliating foam into the dog’s face to gently lift tear stains and neutralize odors.

This level of attentive care extends beyond the tub. A lead groomer certified in canine first aid oversees the floor, ensuring a safe environment. Plus, dogs waiting for their haircuts join the all-day free play areas instead of sitting in enclosed kennels.

You can coordinate a trim while your pet is already attending daycare. Their spacious Nolensville Pike location also ensures your dog has plenty of room to stretch out between activities.

Even though having all these services under one roof is highly convenient, the building is completely closed from noon to 3:00 PM. This midday gap requires you to carefully plan your pickup schedule.

Additionally, management enforces strict no-show fees and applies surcharges if you drop your dog off outside regular operating hours.

Pros

  • Dedicated Nolensville Pike location
  • Standard baths include a blueberry facial
  • Lead groomer holds canine first aid certification
  • Grooming easily pairs with on-site daycare

Cons

  • Facility closes mid-day from noon to 3:00 PM
  • Strict fees for no-shows and late drop-offs

We highly recommend them!
We have been getting our dog Bowie groomed here for over 2 years. They always do an amazing job. We highly recommend them! They listen to our needs, they treat him well, they are very communicative and educate us on their grooming practices!

Thankful to the angels at Pampered Pooch
Leo likes going to pampered pooch!  He loves getting all handsome, clean and dapper for his daily walks when he gets to bark at the neighbors and other dogs. Leo is 16 and has a heart condition and I am thankful to the angels at pampered pooch for giving him so much love and care. Thank you for being nice to Leo even if he is sometimes not in the mood. Xoxo

4. Groom Club

groom-club

Website: https://www.groomclub.com/

Address: 301 Glenrose Avenue

Contact: (615) 619-3647

Schedule: Mon-Fri 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

With the Groom Club mobile van parked conveniently outside your home, you’re spared from a potentially stressful drive across town. But skipping the car ride is only the first step in keeping your pup calm.

They match your dog with a dedicated groomer to build familiarity and trust over time. Dogs who normally panic in a bustling, noisy shop tend to relax in this quiet, one-on-one environment, almost akin to a spa treatment

That stress-free vibe extends straight to your wallet, too. Their flat-rate pricing covers extras like nail dremeling, teeth brushing, and de-shedding without any surprise upcharges at the end of the appointment.

You also receive all schedule updates through quick text messages, along with detailed digital health report cards after the session.

However, their mobile-only model means you can’t drop your dog off while running errands. Many popular Nashville neighborhoods also remain on a waitlist due to their limited service areas.

Pros

  • Mobile van eliminates the commute
  • Dogs get matched with a dedicated groomer
  • Quiet environment relaxes anxious pets
  • Flat-rate pricing includes essential extras

Cons

  • No physical salon for errand drop-offs

So happy with the results that I got
I am so happy with the results that I got from Dillon being puddles groomer today. He listened to all my concerns and he even used his special shampoo. I am so impressed with Dillon and Groom club for making Puddles experience a great one!!!

Truly the best grooming experience we’ve had! 🐶💛
Charlie had such a great experience this week! Drew greeted him outside, which immediately put him at ease, and they were best buds by the end of the appointment. The mobile grooming van was spotless, professional, and so calming. Charlie looked amazing afterward and came out happy, relaxed, and proud of himself. I’m so grateful for the care, patience, and kindness you showed him — truly the best grooming experience we’ve had! 🐶💛

5. Woofie’s of SE Nashville

woofies-of-se-nashville

Website: https://www.woofies.com/southeast-nashville/

Address: 5704 Ohio Avenue

Contact: (615) 622-6940

Schedule:

Mon-Sat 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Sun 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Woofie’s of Southeast Nashville operates both self-contained mobile vans and a traditional physical salon. That dual-service setup gives them the flexibility to offer highly specialized care to almost any animal.

The groomers here handle dogs, cats, and even reptiles. Their staff uses a patented deshedding treatment to save the animal’s coat rather than simply shaving matted fur.

Notably, their brick-and-mortar location holds a safety certification from the American Kennel Club, ensuring strict sanitation and handling protocols.

And I love how easy it is to choose whichever service fits your calendar best. You can book a driveway visit on days you work from home, or drop your pet off at the shop when running errands.

Although their mobile option offers undeniable convenience, it costs noticeably more than visiting the salon in person. You also have to be physically present at home during your pet’s first mobile appointment to establish a routine and meet the groomer.

Pros

  • Choice between mobile vans and a physical salon
  • Accommodates dogs, cats, and even reptiles
  • Uses patented deshedding treatments to save coats
  • American Kennel Club (AKC) certified physical location

Cons

  • Mobile appointments cost noticeably more
  • Furparent must be present for the first mobile visit

Customer Reviews

Woofie’s is the place to go.
I wish I could give them more than five stars! Eric, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and Cameron was amazing with my pup, who normally HATES going to the groomer. She came out happy, calm, and actually wanted to stay instead of go home! If you’re looking for a professional, caring, and client-focused grooming service, Woofie’s is the place to go.

A fully equipped grooming van that made the entire process so convenient
I recently had the pleasure of using Woofies mobile dog grooming service for my dog, Cooper, and I couldn’t be happier! Todd arrived right on time with a fully equipped grooming van that made the entire process so convenient. He was patient, very knowledgeable about dog care, & took the time to make Cooper feel comfortable. I highly recommend Woofies mobile grooming service to any dog owner. It’s a stress-free experience. Thank you, Todd, for making Cooper look so amazing!
