Keep your pup fresh with the 5 best dog grooming salons in Nashville

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Convenience and access: I looked at how easy it is to fit grooming into a busy week. Mobile service mattered, and extended hours helped when they made scheduling easier.

Stress level for pets: I checked whether each setup could make anxious dogs feel calmer. One-on-one grooming and cage-free spaces mattered more than flashy extras.

Grooming skill: I considered whether the team could handle coat needs beyond a basic bath. Breed knowledge was important, especially for senior dogs or thick-coated pets.

Pricing clarity: I looked for services that make the final bill easier to understand. Clear packages are useful because hidden fees can make a simple groom feel frustrating.

Finding a groomer is easier when you know your dog’s coat needs and how much stress they can handle before you book.

When I searched for the best dog grooming in Nashville, I looked for places that make the visit feel safer for pets and simpler for owners. Whether you want a mobile groomer or a social spa day, these options can help your pup leave cleaner and calmer.

I also considered how each groomer handles nervous dogs, since the right setting can make a big difference. If your pup enjoys being around other dogs, nearby dog daycares can also help you find a safe and pet-friendly place.

How much does dog grooming cost in Nashville?

Dog grooming in Nashville usually costs about $75 to $150 per visit, with mobile or large-dog appointments often landing higher.

Service TypeEstimated Cost
Basic bath and brush$50-$100
Full grooming package$60-$200+
Mobile or large-dog grooming$200+

1. Groom Club

Website: groomclub.com

Address: 301 Glenrose Ave

Contact: (615) 619-3647

Hours: Mon-Fri 9 AM-5 PM

Mobile grooming is helpful when your dog hates car rides or you’re already juggling work. Groom Club makes that easier with a flat-fee mobile setup that brings the salon to your driveway, so you don’t have to plan around traffic or salon wait times.

What helps most is the breed-matching approach. Your dog is paired with someone who understands their coat type, which matters for poodles and doodles with high-maintenance coats.

The all-inclusive price also keeps the bill easier to understand because you’re not dealing with surprise add-ons at checkout.

The trade-off is cost and availability, since this mobile service costs more than many shop-based groomers, and last-minute appointments can be harder to grab.

Pros

  • Transparent all-inclusive pricing
  • Mobile driveway grooming
  • Breed-specific groomer matching
  • Low staff turnover focus

Cons

  • Higher price than salon grooming
  • Last-minute bookings are harder

Nicest groomers

Nicest groomers! Groomed my poodle, Phoebe, beautifully. The girls who groomed her were so sweet to Phoebe that she was calmer than i have ever seen her during a grooming session! Made me very happy as well as my poodle. They did a beautiful job! Highly recommend and I am a very picky poodle owner 😉

Here she is showing off her “do” at an elderly senior home.

2. Furry Land Nashville

Address: 1338 Lewis St

Contact: (629) 777-5331

Hours: Mon-Fri 5 AM-6 PM; Sat-Sun 7 AM-5 PM

Anxious dogs often do better when they’re not waiting in a noisy salon around other pets. Furry Land Nashville solves that with one-on-one grooming inside a mobile van, so the visit can feel calmer from start to finish.

This setup is especially useful for senior dogs or pets with mobility issues. The van features a hydraulic table that can lower closer to the floor.

And since it’s fully equipped, the groomer can handle the session outside your home without needing your bathroom or outlets. That keeps the process simple for owners and less disruptive for pets.

The downside is that the convenience comes at a premium. Also, you’ll need enough parking space for the grooming van.

Pros

  • One-on-one mobile grooming
  • Good for anxious dogs
  • Hydraulic tables for senior pets
  • Self-contained grooming vans

Cons

  • Premium mobile pricing
  • Needs a parking space

So pleased with Michele

I was so pleased with Michele and her work with my pup! She looked, smelled, and felt gorgeous!

My golden doodle had a bad experience with a groomer two years ago where she was hurt and although she does okay, I get so anxious. It meant so much to me that my pup loved Michele even after the groom. She went back for more pets multiple times! I could tell that Michele was caring with my baby and would recommend her services! Plus look at those cute bows!

He looked like a new pup

Michelle was our groomer. She did a great job of communicating her ETA and then we discussed how to groom my standard poodle who had not been groomed in many months and she exceeded my expectations. He looked like a new pup and now he is strutting his stuff. Thank you so much! Will book again! Here are before and after

3. Nashville Pet Spa

Website: nashvillepetspa.com

Address: 12007 Lebanon Rd, Mt. Juliet

Contact: (615) 827-5956 | [email protected]

Hours: Mon-Fri 6 AM-7 PM; Sat 7 AM-5 PM; Sun 8-10 AM, 4-8 PM

Some dogs need more than a quick bath, especially if they have energy to burn before settling into grooming. Nashville Pet Spa works well for that kind of pup because the grooming experience is tied to a kennel-free play environment instead of crate waiting.

That social setup can help dogs who enjoy other pets and need room to move before their appointment.

For owners who worry while they’re away, the live camera access adds reassurance without needing constant phone updates. The extended weekday hours also make drop-off easier if you’re trying to fit grooming around work.

The trade-off is that pets over eight months need to meet the spay or neuter rule, and the Mount Juliet location may be inconvenient for central Nashville residents.

Pros

  • Kennel-free grooming setup
  • Extended weekday hours
  • Live play yard cameras
  • Large outdoor play space

Cons

  • Spay/neuter rule applies
  • Mount Juliet location may be inconvenient

Took the best care of my doggo

They were super friendly and took the best care of my doggo. He was worn out when he got home from playing at daycare, but he was also super soft and smelled so good from his groom.

Even left a report card

If your pup is in need of a groom or deshed, I couldn’t recommend Nashville Pet Spa enough. I haven’t had much time on my hands to get Romeo’s summer deshed done and I am in Awe of how amazing he looks. They are affordable and so sweet, even left a report card! Picture of Romeo before and after 🥰🥰🥰 Only reason it is a 4/5 and not a 5/5 is because Romeo still had yellow on his feet from mud from a dog park trip yesterday.

4. Woofie’s Pet Services

Website: woofies.com

Address: 5704 Ohio Ave

Contact: (615) 622-6940

Hours: Mon-Sat 8 AM-5 PM; Sun 9 AM-5 PM

Flexibility matters when you only need a nail trim one week and a full groom the next. Woofie’s Pet Services is useful because it gives owners both mobile driveway grooming and walk-in options, so you can choose what fits your dog’s mood and your schedule.

The app updates are another helpful touch because you can get photos and service details after the appointment. That kind of communication can ease some worry if your dog is nervous with new groomers.

I like the AKC S.A.F.E. certification, which adds confidence around sanitation and handling.

However, this won’t work for every pet, since dogs over eighty pounds may not qualify for some services. Cancellation fees can also feel steep if your plans change suddenly.

Pros

  • Mobile and walk-in options
  • AKC S.A.F.E. certified
  • Broad service area coverage
  • App-based updates

Cons

  • Weight limits apply
  • Steep cancellation fees

My fur babies love her

Freckles and Moses have been a client of Mallory, BBB for 3 years.  Mallory is an excellent dog groomer and my fur babies love her.  I don’t want any other dog groomers to groom my dogs.

Thank you

Woofies is Professional! The groomers are very good at their craft. I also want to recognize that Woofies came out to groom my Dog on a holiday weekend with very short notice. I want to give a shout out to “Cat”! She did an amazing job on my Pup!

5. Mobile Pet Spaws, LLC

Website: mobilepetspaws.com

Areas Served: Nashville and nearby areas

Contact: (629) 206-9279

Hours: Mon-Sun 8 AM-6 PM

Weekend grooming can be hard to find, which is why Mobile Pet Spaws, LLC is practical for owners who can’t manage weekday appointments.

The service runs seven days a week and uses a larger fleet, so booking may feel easier than it does with smaller mobile groomers.

Another helpful part is the fully self-contained van. The groomer doesn’t need your water or electricity, which keeps the visit neat if you’re working from home or managing multiple pets.

Standard packages include basics like sanitary trims, so the pricing feels less piecemeal.

The main limitation is the weight rule, since larger dogs may be excluded. Some surrounding ZIP codes can also come with travel fees.

Pros

  • Available seven days a week
  • Larger mobile fleet
  • Self-contained grooming vans
  • Inclusive standard packages

Cons

  • Weight limits exclude big dogs
  • Travel fees in some areas

Door-to-door service is outstanding

We love Mobile Pet Spaws! They have been grooming our pup for a few years now. Rick keeps us on schedule for our pup’s monthly groom, and the convenience of having door-to-door service is outstanding. Shelby, our groomer, is the sweetest, kindest, most gentle, caring person you will ever meet! She is loving and patient with our sensitive, vocal pup, and she always helps him look and feel his best!
