The Best Dog Daycare in Nashville for Dogs That Need a Social Life Too

dog-daycare-in-nashville
We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Safety and Supervision: I checked how closely staff watch dogs during playtime. I focused on places with trained staff and clear rules to keep dogs safe and avoid problems.

Facility Environment and Features: I looked at how clean, comfortable, and dog-friendly each space is. I preferred places with indoor and outdoor play areas and temperature-controlled rooms.

Updates and Communication: I reviewed how each daycare keeps owners updated. Places that send photos or messages, or offer live video, ranked higher because they provide peace of mind.

Pricing and Value: I compared costs and what each service includes. I chose places that are clear about pricing and do not surprise owners with hidden fees.

Convenience and Access: I checked how easy it is to drop off and pick up dogs. I also considered opening hours and extra services that help busy owners.

Leaving your dog home alone all day can be incredibly stressful, and finding the right environment shouldn’t add to your anxiety. If you’re worried whether your pup thrives in high-energy playgroups or prefers quiet, nap-friendly spaces, I’ve got you!

Because every pup has unique needs, I set out to find the dog daycares in Nashville that truly prioritize safety, engagement, and genuine care.

I vetted the top local facilities to see how they stack up in terms of supervision, cleanliness, and overall comfort. Read on to make an informed choice for you and your pet!

1. Camp Bow Wow Nashville – Downtown

Website: https://www.campbowwow.com/

Address: 2538 Bransford Ave.

Contact: (629) 265-0873

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Saturday to Sunday, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

If you want a dog daycare that feels structured but still fun, Camp Bow Wow Nashville Downtown is one of the most reliable options I found.

What stood out to me immediately was how everything is already included in one price, so you don’t have to worry about surprise add-ons later.

Even things like medication support and small treats are part of the package. The play areas are large, climate-controlled, and designed so dogs can safely interact even during hot Nashville days.

I also like that you can check live webcams anytime, which makes it easy to see how your dog is doing.

The only drawback is that toys aren’t allowed in group play, which some dogs might miss. You also need to complete an evaluation day before booking regular stays, so there’s no option for an instant drop-off.

Pros

  • Transparent all-inclusive pricing
  • Live camper webcams
  • CPR and first aid certified staff
  • Free trial interview day

Cons

  • No toys allowed in play areas
  • Mandatory scheduled interview day

Only place where he comes home tired and not full of more anxiety

We have a high anxiety dog and this has been the only place where he comes home tired and not full of more anxiety. Very caring staff and clean place. We’ve done boarding and day care. Great place.

Regularly visit and it’s nice to bring him with us on trips

We love CampBowWow!  When we left in Nashville, we Took our Pup A couple times a week for daycare. We moved from Nashville about three months ago but regularly visit and it’s nice to be able to bring him with us on the trip and let him hang out at CampBowWow with his buddies.

2. The Belmont Pet Resort and Daycare

Address: 3206 Belmont Boulevard

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

If you’re looking for a more structured, closely supervised daycare, The Belmont Pet Resort and Daycare is one of the most controlled environments I’ve tried.

What makes this place stand out is how seriously the staff takes dog behavior management. They even have trained professionals actively guiding playgroups instead of just observing.

I also liked that they have indoor all-weather playrooms, so dogs stay comfortable even during bad weather. Their partnership with a nearby animal hospital also adds extra peace of mind.

During my visit, I noticed how scheduled nap breaks helped prevent dogs from getting overly tired or stressed, which makes for a smoother transition after pick-ups.

However, the strict rules may not work for everyone. Dogs under 15 pounds are not accepted in group daycare, and drop-off times are very limited, which can be difficult for busy schedules.

Pros

  • Staff certified in dog behavior
  • All-weather indoor playrooms
  • Mandatory rest rotations
  • Partnered with local vet hospital

Cons

  • Dogs under 15 lbs excluded
  • Strict drop-off time windows

Their favorite place on earth!

Our boys absolutely love BPR. It is their favorite place on earth! They lose their minds every time we pull up to daycare. All the staff members are so wonderful and accommodating. They take such great care of our dogs when we are at work and on the occasion we have to board them while away. We truly appreciate how much they love and care for our dogs. In addition, we have our dogs groomed at BPR and Keenan does a fantastic job every time!

A perfect place for her for 2 1/2 years

Christy has been going to Belmont for the last 2 1/2 years and it’s been a perfect place for her. The staff really loves the dogs and are very caring and perceptive. It’s been a great experience!

3. Miss Kitty’s Dog Resort

Website: https://www.misskittysnashville.com/

Address: 4308 Kenilwood Drive

Contact: (615) 292-1900

Hours: Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Sunday 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

For pet parents who value safety above all, Miss Kitty’s Dog Resort stands out. There’s always someone watching over the dogs, even overnight, so you know your furry friend is never alone.

Dogs also get to play freely on real grass outdoor areas, which feels more natural than indoor-only setups.

I also liked that they group dogs carefully by size, which helps protect smaller pets during active play. Extra perks like grooming touch-ups add even more value.

However, the facility isn’t suitable for all dogs. There are strict breed restrictions, and larger dogs over 40 pounds may not be accepted. So, this place is more of a selective option depending on your pet’s size and breed.

Pros

  • 24/7 on-site staffing
  • Real grass outdoor playgrounds
  • High-transparency webcam access
  • Free maintenance grooming perks

Cons

  • Strict breed restrictions
  • Optimized mostly for smaller dogs

All the staff has always been very friendly

We love miss Kittys! Mickey is a miniature poodle & he has been groomed, boarded and does daycare here. He gets so excited I can barely keep him in the car when we pull up. He was nervous the very first day but after that he has always been extremely excited. All the staff  has always been very friendly & he loves the Nannie’s. They do birthday parties & different fun events for the dogs. I feel miss Kittys is worth every penny because Mickey just loves being there.

The daycare is clean and safe

My dog has never loved a dog daycare until Miss Kitty’s. Now, daycare is the highlight of his week and he will actually jump into the back window if I miss the turn 😅 The daycare is clean and safe. Joey is well cared for and I can watch him on cameras whenever I miss my pup. Any time I have checked in on camera, he’s been under the caring eye of a staff member looking to pet and comfort the dogs. I trust them with my fur baby with ease.

4. Hounds Town – Nashville

hounds-town-nashville

Website: https://houndstownusa.com/

Address: 288 Hermitage Ave.

Contact: (615) 880-8696

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM | Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Sunday, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Looking for a daycare that welcomes all pups, no matter their breed? Hounds Town Nashville is refreshingly inclusive, grouping dogs by temperament rather than breed. This approach means almost every dog can find a spot and feel right at home.

They also use structured pack-style play to help dogs socialize naturally, rather than forcing them into isolation in cages.

I liked that they offer practical extras like a pet taxi service, which is helpful for busy owners. Their staff training is also based on proven canine behavior methods, which adds confidence in their system.

However, there are some trade-offs. For one, the facility doesn’t offer live webcams, so you can’t check in remotely. The lobby also closes midday, which can make quick pickups inconvenient.

Pros

  • Fully inclusive breed policy
  • Expert-led management protocols
  • Transparent pricing structure
  • Natural pack socialization

Cons

  • No live webcam access
  • Midday lobby closures

The staff is amazing and always goes above and beyond

Winston has been coming here for daycare and boarding for a while now and absolutely loves it! The staff is amazing and always goes above and beyond. He always comes home super happy and tired. Huge shoutout to Sam and Junine for just being awesome.

Staff has been so patient & understanding with her

We’ve had a great experience at Hounds Town with our pup. She’s been going to daycare & occasionally boarding there for over a year and a half. Our pup is anxious & can be reactive, but the staff there has been so patient & understanding with her. We’re so happy we found them.

5. Dogtopia of 8th Avenue – Nashville

dogtopia-of-8th-avenue-nashville

Website: https://www.dogtopia.com/

Address: 1802 8th Avenue

Contact: 615-486-2626 / [email protected]

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | Saturday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Sunday 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

If a modern, tech-savvy approach matters to you, Dogtopia of 8th Avenue Nashville is a solid pick. This place delivers with amenities such as a UV air filtration system to support your dog’s well-being.

They also have trained canine coaches who actively guide dogs during play instead of just supervising. I liked the live webcam system, which lets owners check on their pets anytime from their phone. It feels very transparent and reassuring.

However, the facility has strict entry rules. Every dog must complete an evaluation day before joining regular daycare. Their Sunday hours are also very limited, which can be inconvenient for weekend schedules.

Despite that, it remains one of the more modern and structured daycare options in Nashville.

Pros

  • Advanced UV air filtration system
  • High-definition live webcam access
  • Expertly trained supervisory staff
  • Strategic urban accessibility

Cons

  • Extremely limited Sunday hours
  • Mandatory pre-enrollment evaluation

My pup is completely deaf and they go above and beyond

We absolutely love Dogtopia on 8th! My pup is completely deaf, and they have gone above and beyond to make sure he is properly socializing with other pups and feels comfortable in a play space. They offer specials all the time like pup cup days, seasonal “school” photos and so much more! He is so excited to go to daycare every day, and not to mention the prices are very competitive! Highly recommend.
