We tricked out our rides at the 5 best car accessory shops in Nashville

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Product Variety: I looked for shops that carry more than one kind of upgrade, from everyday accessories to bigger custom parts. A wider selection makes it easier to handle several car needs in one stop.

Installation Support: I checked whether each shop offers help with setup, especially for electronics, tinting, lighting, or other work that can go wrong if installed poorly. Good support matters because car accessories should make driving easier, not create new problems.

Pricing and Value: I compared the general value behind the products and services, not just the lowest price. Shops scored better when they offered durable materials, clear help, or useful perks without making the upgrade feel overpriced.

Customer Experience: I looked at how approachable the staff seemed and whether customers felt guided through the buying process. Helpful employees matter when you are choosing parts that need to fit your exact vehicle.

Accessibility: I checked hours, location, and basic convenience for everyday drivers. A good shop should be realistic to visit, especially when you need parts before work or a quick weekend upgrade.

Finding the right gear can make your car feel cleaner, safer, or just easier to enjoy on the road. Some drivers need simple floor mats, while others want audio work, lighting, tint, or a bigger custom build.

That range is why finding the best car accessory in Nashville depends on more than price alone. I looked for local shops that make upgrades easier to choose, install, and maintain.

If tint is your main project, comparing window tinting companies can also help you decide whether a specialized installer is a better fit.

How much does a car accessory cost in Nashville?

A car accessory in Nashville can cost about $10 for simple interior items, while professional installs like tinting or remote starts often range from $100 to $900.

Accessory / ServiceTypical Price Range
Simple interior accessories$10 – $25
Wiper bladesAround $14.99 each
Floor mats / liners$20 – $150+
Professional window tinting$100 – $800
Remote start systems installed$250 – $900

1. Street Sounds

Website: streetsounds.biz

Address: 3233 Gallatin Pike

Contact: (615) 227-6002

Hours: Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Upgrading a vehicle’s audio system is easier when the shop understands both sound and daily driving needs.

Street Sounds is a strong fit for that because they handle custom audio and related protection tech for cars, marine vehicles, and powersports setups.

That range is helpful if you want one place to handle a cleaner dashboard, a better speaker setup, or extra security for a work vehicle. I’m happy that the staff can explain hardware choices without making the process feel too technical.

The shop is best for interior electronics and visual upgrades.

The trade-off is that they don’t focus on under-the-hood performance work, so auto repair shops are a better match if you need engine or mechanical upgrades.

Pros

  • Offers a wide range of audio upgrades
  • Handles marine and powersports setups
  • Installs lighting and safety tech
  • Helpful staff for hardware guidance

Cons

  • No mechanical performance upgrades

Amazing installation of my new antenna

I would give 10 stars if available. The installation of my new antenna and the fixing of my stereo in my Lexus SC 430 were amazing. The timeliness, the price, and the personal customer care were all above average. I highly recommend Street Sound to anyone. I will be a lifetime customer.

The work was done professionally

Jason, the owner of Street Sounds, was fantastic to work with! I needed some interior light modifications done on my work Sprinter van, and the results were outstanding. The work was done professionally and looked like it came straight from the factory. Thank you so much!

2. Hunter’s Custom Automotive

hunters-custom-automotive-logo

Website: hunterscustoms.com

Address: 955 E Trinity Ln

Contact: (615) 227-6584; (800) 251-3548

Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM; Sunday: Closed

Vintage builds need a different kind of parts shop because older vehicles can be picky about fit, finish, and long-term care. Hunter’s Custom Automotive works well for that crowd, especially if you’re restoring a hot rod or trying to protect older paint and chrome.

That focus makes the shop feel more useful than a basic parts counter. They carry targeted maintenance products, offer custom upgrade support, and stay active in local auto shows, which helps them keep close to Nashville’s classic car community.

I love that you can call the toll-free number when you need quick guidance before driving over.

The downside is that their strongest work leans toward older models, so modern import tuners or newer daily drivers may not feel as directly served.

Pros

  • Specializes in classic hot rods
  •
  • Provides toll-free customer support
  • Active in local automotive shows

Cons

  • Not the best fit for modern import tuners or newer daily drivers

Installed a 3.5” lift

Mr. Lyn and everyone at Hunters went above and beyond with working around my busy work schedule and installed a 3.5” lift on my 2022 Badlands Bronco for a very fair price that stayed within the budget I asked for! This is the second vehicle I’ve brought to them for custom work and they’ve delivered both times!!

Definitely stop by or give them a call for any questions there more than helpful!

Quality products and selection

These guys are awesome I love the quality products and selection they have. If I could give them a ten star rating I would. I Called them after I got a bonus at work. Told them I had been wanting some new shoes for my ride told them kind of what I was leaning towards what I had and asked what they thought would look good. I got there and was amazed at how clean my car looked two thumbs up for the king

3. Titan Motoring

Website: titanmotoring.net

Address: 4302 Kenilwood Dr

Contact: (615) 457-3529

Hours: Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Titan Motoring is a better fit when your vehicle needs more than a small add-on. That full-custom focus makes sense for bigger projects because the shop handles suspension work, wraps, lighting, and upholstery.

Instead of piecing the work together at different places, you can plan a more complete upgrade in one stop.

I like that they have a showroom. Seeing options in person can make it easier to decide before committing to a larger build.

From there, the exterior and interior work can be especially helpful after buying a plain daily driver or a stripped-down fleet vehicle. The team can make the whole vehicle feel more intentional, not just slightly updated.

The trade-off is that quick, simple accessory installs may not be their main focus because their setup is geared toward larger custom projects.

Pros

  • Offers extensive suspension work
  • Features a dedicated product showroom
  • Handles custom wraps and lighting
  • Provides interior upholstery services

Cons

  • Less ideal for quick accessory installs

Extremely professional from the moment I walked in

Absolutely loved it here. Extremely professional from the moment I walked in till the moment I left with my truck after the work they did. Always kept me up to date on the progress of my truck and sent pictures as well. They are subject matter experts from vehicle stereo systems to lift kits and more. They gave me quality suggestions without trying to drain my bank account. Absolute top quality work and this is the only place I’ll be taking my truck from now on. Thank you guys for making my sound system absolutely amazing!!!!

4. Advance Auto Parts

Website: advanceautoparts.com

Address: 5737 Temple Rd

Contact: (615) 646-4161

Hours: Monday-Saturday: 7:30 AM – 9:00 PM; Sunday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Advance Auto Parts works well when you need an everyday fix without making the errand feel complicated.

That practical focus is useful for drivers shopping for wiper blades, batteries, floor mats, cleaning supplies, or basic tools. Instead of guessing on fit, you can ask the staff to point you toward the right item.

I appreciate that the team can answer common DIY repair questions. The free loaner tool program helps, too, especially if you don’t want to buy equipment for a one-time job.

Select item installation adds another layer of convenience. It can save time when you’re dealing with a quick replacement and don’t want to handle it in the parking lot yourself.

The limitation is that the inventory leans more toward maintenance than flashy interior customization, so style-focused shoppers may find fewer options.

Pros

  • Skilled staff for DIY guidance
  • Free loaner tool program
  • Wide range for many vehicle types
  • Complimentary installation on select items

Cons

  • Inventory favors maintenance parts over aesthetic interior customizations

Helped right away

Woke up on Monday morning and I had a cell out in my battery. Obviously I was not happy about this, wife had to miss work and had to go find a battery somewhere. Came to Adnvanced auto parts and was helped right away. Cody was great, we had a great conversation while he installed my new battery. Highly recommend and ask for Cody. Super down to earth, all around nice guy

Tonya’s friendliness and stellar customer service

I was side swiped and my side mirror was beyond use or repair. I stopped in to get a temporary replacement and they didn’t have my size because my car is brand spanking new. However, Tonya showed me this “cut your own” mirror thing, traced my existing mirror, attached it, then helped me put the mirror piece back into its little cubby on my car. I’ve been in a horrible mood because my brand new car got damaged but Tonya’s friendliness and stellar customer service made my day!

5. NAPA Auto Parts

napa-auto-parts-logo

Website: napaonline.com

Address: 711 Murfreesboro Pike

Contact: (615) 254-5600

Hours: Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Saturday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Sunday: Closed

Routine maintenance is less stressful when the store has the right parts in stock and opens early enough to fit a workday.

That’s what you’ll get at NAPA Auto Parts. They’re a dependable pick for drivers who need batteries, filters, fluids, diagnostic tools, or paint supplies for smaller exterior touch-ups.

That steady inventory makes the shop useful for both everyday car owners and professional mechanics.

It’s so nice that the weekday hours start at 7:00 AM, which gives you room to grab parts before a repair appointment or morning shift.

The products feel more work-focused than decorative, so this is the place for upkeep rather than a flashy cabin refresh.

The drawback is that they don’t handle custom fabrication or specialized interior modifications, so those projects need a different shop.

Pros

  • Stocks a large battery selection
  • Sells paint restoration supplies
  • Offers professional-grade tools
  • Opens early on weekday mornings

Cons

  • No custom fabrication services
  • Not for flashy cabin refresh

They went out of their way

I was on the road from Everett, WA. and needed a part.

it was close to closing and they stayed a few minutes late so as I could get my part and keep me on the road.

They went out of their way, above and beyond to help someone.

This is why I use NAPA and not others. If you want great customer service and knowledgeable parts people NAPA is the place to go.
