Game Days Are More Fun at the Best Sports Bars in Nashville

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

TV Coverage and Atmosphere: I checked the number of screens and monitored the sound quality during live broadcasts. A great venue must deliver electric game-day energy and clear views from every seat.

Food and Drink Quality: I tasted the classic bar staples like wings and burgers to ensure they hit the spot. The drink menu needs a solid mix of local drafts and reliable spirits.

Location and Convenience: I evaluated how easy it is to reach the venue from popular city neighborhoods. Good parking options and walkability play a huge part in a stress-free outing.

Service and Vibe: I observed how quickly the staff handles large crowds during high-stakes matchups. The best places keep wait times low and make every fan feel right at home.

At legendary sports bars, you hear the roar of the crowd before you even step inside. They give you front-row energy without the ticket prices.

Finding the right spot to catch the big game makes all the difference. You want cold beer and an electric atmosphere.

That’s why I spent my weekends hunting for the ultimate game-day hangouts across the city. Here are the best sports bars in Nashville with massive screens and fantastic menus.

If you get peckish after the game and crave a delicious, greasy meal, head on to the best burger joints in the area.

Your standard pub food gets a serious upgrade at Sports & Social Green Hills. This upscale destination pairs an elevated food menu with a polished atmosphere. They feature massive screens and top-tier audiovisual setups for an immersive experience.

Their expansive drink menus are filled with domestic drafts and signature margaritas. Large groups fit easily here because they offer dedicated private event spaces. You can also enjoy fun daily specials like Taco Tuesdays.

I also love that the sheer volume of screens ensures nobody misses a crucial play.

Just plan your arrival carefully. Valet and mall parking often turn into a hassle during peak weekend game times.

Pros

  • Upscale food menu
  • Private event spaces
  • Huge television screens
  • Fun daily specials

Cons

  • Difficult mall parking
  • Crowded valet lines

We had an awesome experience at Nashville Sports and Social thanks to our server, Tymi! She was super friendly, attentive, and handled our big group with ease in a busy environment. She made the day so much more fun—highly recommend asking for her! You won’t be disappointed, I promise!

Finding a reliable neighborhood joint changes everything. Beyond The Edge remains a staple local hangout featuring daily two-for-one drink specials. You get comprehensive game coverage in a very open layout.

I spent a Sunday here watching football. You’ll easily catch multiple different games simultaneously across the venue.

The kitchen stays open until two in the morning for your late-night food cravings. Plus, they pour twenty-five rotating beers on tap.

This spot keeps the indoor space smoke-free while providing a dedicated outdoor patio.

On the downside, parking in the immediate vicinity usually requires using nearby pay-to-park lots.

Pros

  • Excellent drink specials
  • Late night kitchen
  • Huge beer selection
  • Smoke-free indoors

Cons

  • Paid parking

This place is an East Nashville staple. Multiple local beers on tap, pool tables and patio seating on the front and side of the building. The parking lot is a pay lot, but there is street parking available just try to avoid high traffic times to save money on parking.

If you ever want a place that consistently just let’s you “eat, drink and chill”??? Then THIS is your place! NO -isms, NO politics, NO funny vibe. NOTHING but T’s wings, a cold beer/wine of your choice, and just about any sport you want on the TV. Not quite Cheers, but if you go enough times, they’ll know your drink order! 😉

Some games call for a cleaner atmosphere and a better cut of meat. Jonathan’s Grille operates as an upscale sports grille offering a comfortable dining experience.

They provide extensive game-watching capabilities with over fifty-five large screens per location. You’ll get an optimal view from literally any seat in the house.

They maintain a very clean environment that separates them from standard dive establishments.

Their extensive food menu accommodates various dietary needs. You can also grab budget-friendly appetizers during their weekday happy hours.

Unfortunately, high local demand definitely impacts your schedule here. You can expect longer wait times for seating during major championship games.

Pros

  • High-quality dining
  • Clean atmosphere
  • Great happy hour
  • Gluten-free choices

Cons

  • Long wait times

We were looking for a place to watch the late NFL game and this place was perfect! The food was fantastic. We had the prime rib sliders and nachos and they were great. Full service bar and lots of tvs for sports. Cute Christmas decor too. Definitely recommend and we will be going back!

Food and service are great. The prices are very reasonable. The bar itself is very spacious with loads of tvs playing all the sports you want. I have been multiple times and enjoyed myself everytime. If you are in the area, give this bar a try. I will definitely be back.

Skip the massive downtown crowds and head to a cozier setting. Neighbors of Germantown is a welcoming community spot known for its casual atmosphere. They serve locally sourced menu items that perfectly match a fun game day.

I grabbed a table here last month to watch hockey. Their budget-friendly drink specials keep your tab low compared to larger downtown venues. They also serve a highly reliable food menu featuring standout hickory-smoked wings.

This bar hosts engaging regular events like trivia nights for a communal viewing experience.

Just get there very early on game day. The space becomes quite crowded during local team matchups.

Pros

  • Community atmosphere
  • Cheap drink specials
  • Local food items
  • Fun trivia nights

Cons

  • Hard to find seats

First, the food was amazing. Sports bar food usually just good enough to help you continue drinking without crashing out. However, the food was full of flavor, creative, fresh and hot. The service was amazing Connor was helpful and knowledgeable. He has a great attitude, efficient and a lot of fun. I will definitely be going back!!!

Christiana took care of us during a very hectic sports night and she was so attentive and made sure we were never turning our heads to order more food or another drink. She was so personable and made me feel so comfortable getting to watch my favorite team in a big game.

They dedicate their indoor pub space to broadcasting soccer and rugby matches for international fans. On the other hand, the massive rooftop layout accommodates large game-day groups very comfortably. You can easily play a round of lawn bowling between matches.

Food was solid. Drinks were great. Bartender was legit, friendly, and poured heavy. We were there for a premier league game, great spot to watch any kind of sports though. Tons of tvs. The breakfast potatoes were so so good.
