The 5 Best Snow Removal Services in Nashville for Stress-Free Winter Cleanup

best-snow-removal-service-nashville
We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.
  • Reliability and Availability: We looked for companies that offer extended hours or priority scheduling during winter storms. You need a crew that shows up promptly when ice and snow create dangerous conditions.

  • Service Offerings: Our review considered whether a company provides comprehensive winter care, like salting and de-icing. Moving snow is helpful, but preventing it from refreezing is essential for ongoing safety.

  • Equipment Quality: We evaluated the type of machinery each business uses to clear properties. Companies using pavement-safe blades or specialized low-impact vehicles scored much higher in our assessment.

  • Client Focus: We checked whether the contractors cater to specific needs, such as large commercial properties or everyday residential driveways. Finding the right fit ensures you get the appropriate level of attention and care.

Winter in Middle Tennessee can be hard to predict. One day it’s sunny, and the next you’re dealing with an icy driveway or a snow-covered parking lot.

That’s why homeowners and property managers need dependable crews who can keep their spaces safe and accessible when the weather suddenly turns.

So, we looked into local companies to see which ones are ready to respond when a winter storm hits. Here’s a guide to help you find the best snow removal services in Nashville for your home or business, without scrambling at the last minute!

How much does snow removal cost in Nashville?

Snow removal services in Nashville typically cost around $80 per visit, though most jobs can range from $25 to $200 depending on the property size and ice or snow buildup.

Full winter season contracts usually cost between $200 and $600.

Service TypeEstimated Cost
Average Per Visit$80
Typical Visit Range$25 – $200
Full Winter Season Contract$200 – $600

1. TN Snow Removal

tn-snow-removal

Website: http://tnsnowremoval.com/

Address: 121 Flintlock Dr, Franklin

Contact: (615) 205-2425

Hours: Monday to Saturday, 12 Hours a Day

TN Snow Removal is a practical option when a major storm makes it hard to lock in help. Instead of leaving you stuck if their own schedule fills up, they use a partner network to connect you with another capable local contractor.

That backup system is especially helpful when both homes and businesses are scrambling for snow removal at the same time.

They also focus on prevention, not just clearing snow. By applying salt along with plowing, they help keep driveways, parking areas, and walkways from turning into slippery ice patches later.

However, while their 12-hour availability six days a week is useful, they’re completely closed on Sundays.

You’ll also need to contact them well in advance to secure a spot, so they’re not the best fit for a last-minute rescue after a surprise weekend blizzard.

Pros

  • Reliable partner backup network
  • Works for homes and businesses
  • Offers salting and plowing
  • Long daily availability
  • Helps prevent icy surfaces

Cons

  • Closed on Sundays
  • Requires advance booking
  • Not ideal for emergencies

2. Southern Acre Landscaping

Address: 807 Poplar Ave

Contact: (629) 249-5297

Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Managing winter maintenance takes more than clearing snow after it falls. Southern Acre Landscaping stands out by using their horticulture expertise and long-term property care approach to plan before winter weather becomes a problem.

Essentially, they identify your property’s highest-risk areas early, so ice buildup and unsafe spots can be addressed before they become bigger safety concerns. This setup works well for commercial properties that need steady oversight.

When we used their priority scheduling program last winter for our community lot, their communication portal made it smooth and stress-free to request service. Their snow plows even remain on standby, making response times feel more reliable during storms.

That said, they’re mainly a landscaping company, so snow removal and ice melt are only add-on services for them.

Plus, they primarily serve commercial landscaping clients, so homeowners who need a quick driveway plow may need another option.

Pros

  • Preventive winter planning
  • Strong commercial property oversight
  • Reliable standby snow plows
  • Smooth communication portal
  • Handles ice melt well

Cons

  • Snow removal is only an add-on
  • Not ideal for quick residential plowing

Customer Reviews

The team at Southern Acre is incredible to work with

The team at Southern Acre is incredible to work with. Jonathan Nance, in particular, was recommended to me from a friend and – just as they had said- he was an absolute pleasure to work with. In a now booming metropolitan city that was once the “little big town” of Nashville, it was such a comfort working with another Nashville Native that takes as much pride in his work as we both do in this amazing community! 5 stars! Could not recommend more!! Will be using them for future projects!

He’s always responsive

Jonathan at Southern Acre has been so great to work with at commercial properties that I manage in the Nashville area.  He’s always responsive anytime I need him.  I’m looking forward to working with him on future projects!!

  • Ideal for luxury properties
  • Protects hardscaping and landscaping

4. All Terrain Land Clearing and Brush Control

Website: https://www.allterrainlandclearing.com/

Address: Nashville and nearby areas

Contact: (931) 446-6056

Hours: Monday to Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM

Keeping a property safe during winter weather often takes more than simply pushing snow out of the way. All Terrain Land Clearing offers a hands-on approach to snow removal and salting through owner-operated services, using low-impact equipment.

When we looked into their work, what stood out was that the owner stays on-site for every job. That level of oversight helps ensure walkways, driveways, and parking areas are cleared carefully without unnecessary damage to concrete or asphalt.

Plus, they can handle both small residential paths and large commercial parking lots, making them a flexible option in Middle Tennessee’s wet, freezing conditions.

However, snow removal is still a seasonal side service for them. Since their main work focuses on land clearing and forestry mulching, availability may be more limited during storms.

They also seem to lean more on the southern suburbs, which could slow response times for northern Nashville.

Pros

  • Owner-supervised service
  • Low-impact equipment
  • Handles residential and commercial jobs
  • Handles residential and commercial jobs

Cons

  • Seasonal side service
  • Limited northern Nashville response

Customer Reviews

This company is awesome

This company is awesome. Isaiah came out and met with us, answered all my questions and you could tell he knew what he was talking about. Austin came out to do the clearing and did an amazing job. He worked hard and it looks great! I will definitely be going back to them to do the grading work when we start building our house.

They have a great team and great equipment

I highly recommend All Terrain. They have a great team and great equipment. It’s amazing how much they were able to accomplish in one day. They pushed back the encroaching tree-line on my side and back yard – significantly improving the usability and attractiveness of the space. They also cut a beautiful trail through our backwoods that we are using daily. I should have done this years ago.

5. The Greathouse Company

the-greathouse-company

Website: https://greathouselandscape.com/

Address: 3825 Whites Creek Pike

Contact: (615) 953-7595

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Managing winter safety across large commercial properties and HOAs can be challenging, especially when steep roads and uneven terrain make ice control more urgent.

The Greathouse Company simplifies this with proactive winter care backed by over 45 years of family-owned experience.

Their teams focus on preventing issues early by pre-treating roads and communicating ahead of storms. Plus, they’re equipped to handle difficult slopes safely, which is especially helpful for some of our more uneven local neighborhoods.

They also offer a single-vendor setup by bundling winter services with summer landscaping. This gives high-end commercial properties a more streamlined maintenance partner across seasons.

On the other hand, their services may be too expensive for standard residential needs. Their contracts are geared toward larger estates, and reliance on temporary on-call winter labor can stretch capacity during prolonged ice storms.

Pros

  • 45+ years of experience
  • Proactive ice prevention
  • Handles steep terrain
  • Year-round maintenance partner

Cons

  • Costly for standard homes
  • Geared toward larger properties
  • Temporary labor may limit capacity
