Step into Fat Bottom Brewing Co. to feel the industrial-chic energy of a taproom focused on flavor-driven ales. They balance this bold beer selection with a relaxed ambiance and seriously elevated comfort food. The approachable menu always hits the spot after a long day.

I recently ordered their soft pretzels with house-made beer cheese, and the sharp flavors completely blew me away.

This spacious spot easily accommodates large groups looking for a casual weekend hangout. The seasonal and specialty ales offer something fresh every time you visit. x

Unfortunately, their operating hours end quite early on most weekdays and Sundays. You can’t plan a late-night session here. Still, it remains a fantastic afternoon escape.

Pros

  • Diverse seasonal ale selection
  • Elevated comfort food menu
  • Spacious group layout
  • Relaxed industrial atmosphere

Cons

  • Closes early on weekdays
  • Early Sunday closing time

The Sunday Brunch Buffet was AMAZING! Great variety of options from savory to sweet. Highlights for me were the made to order omelet station (the best I’ve ever had) and carving station (NY Strip was incredible),  fondue station, and fun drinks! Super friendly staff and casual atmosphere. They even brought out free samples of the brewery’s newest beer. Great experience all around, will definitely be back!

I stopped by several breweries while in Nashville recently, and Fat Bottom was my favorite. The beer was good. The food was good. The atmosphere was nice (sat outside on a pretty day with live music going). The waitstaff was friendly and had solid recommendations. I’ll totally go back the next time I’m in town.

Hours: Mon to Wed: 12 PM – 10 PM | Fri to Sat: 12 PM – 12 AM | Sun: 12 PM – 8 PM

Monday Night Brewing transforms a historic preservation space into a dynamic taproom loaded with character. The unique architecture preserves the site’s rich history while delivering a modern, inviting hangout.

They offer a massive selection of craft beverages and a highly creative cocktail program in a deeply relaxed setting.

You can explore an expansive beverage menu that caters to almost any palate. The full cocktail list provides an excellent alternative if you want something other than traditional draft beer. They also serve an approachable snack selection featuring high-quality cheese platters that perfectly complement the drinks.

However, the sprawling venue becomes quite loud and incredibly crowded during peak weekend hours. You might struggle to find a quiet corner for conversation.

Pros

  • Expansive craft beverage menu
  • Full creative cocktail program
  • Unique historic architecture
  • High-quality snack selection

Cons

  • Loud during peak hours
  • Extremely crowded on weekends

My friends and I found the cutest little brewery in Nashville last night, and it was such a great vibe. Cozy, welcoming, and effortlessly cool, with an awesome selection of fresh, flavorful beers. The staff was super friendly, and the whole place just felt warm and fun. Definitely a must-visit spot for a chill night out! 🍻

Great beer but definitely a loud bar scene versus laidback brewery. Loud music and crowded. Would probably be better in warmer weather when folks can sit outside. Paid parking only (first hour free and $6 per hour after).

Tennessee Brew Works stands out as a vibrant community hub that deeply celebrates our regional culture. You will appreciate how strongly they integrate regional ingredients into their entire production process.

They offer exceptional on-site brewing, consistent live music programming, and a truly high-energy patio space. I spent hours here last month enjoying a rich stout while listening to a fantastic local bluegrass band.

Their multi-level seating areas give you plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy the sunshine. The central location also makes it highly accessible for both locals and out-of-town visitors.

However, parking availability gets intensely challenging during large events or busy weekends. You might need to circle the block a few times to find a spot. Still, the fantastic beer easily justifies the difficult parking hunt.

Pros

  • Regular live music performances
  • Multi-level seating and patio
  • Uses regional brewing ingredients
  • Excellent central location

Cons

  • Challenging weekend parking

me and my boyfriend visited here as part of a brewery/distillery tour on a Thursday so it was not packed. The bartender was knowledgeable and we tried beers. Not a beer drinker but we wanted to be spontaneous, we did enjoy them. The nashville hot sandwhich was the best one we had while in nashville. The fries were just fries but also good.

Very Exceptional!!

We had all 17 beers on tap in 3 flights and 2 pints and enjoyed our experience. Thank you brew masters for doing your job well. Also, chef, we appreciate a brewery that does amazing food. Keep up the great work and we’ll be back!!

Cheers 🍻

This neighborhood spot welcomes everyone with open arms and incredibly friendly service. Plus, the relaxed environment actively welcomes dogs, making it a perfect weekend stop.

  • Frequent experimental beer releases
  • Highly knowledgeable staff
  • Relaxed pet-friendly environment

Cons

  • Limited food options
  • No in-house kitchen

We came on a Monday. Chill atmosphere. LOTS of beer choices! Great service. We are brewery hopping (we’re from out of town)… but I’d come back here! Not many breweries have an Amber AND a Red Ale! (Not many snack choices, though. No kitchen.)OOPS. Looks like we came on the ONLY day they don’t have a food truck!

From the beer to the friendly staff – New Heights was a great brewery to hang at! Local recommendations, a local pizza to help with my hangry, fun beer names, cute merch – add this to your list of stops!

Fait la Force Brewing shines as a brilliant Belgian-inspired destination for discerning craft beer fans. They seamlessly bring specialized brewing techniques into a modern and highly comfortable community space.

This brewery stands out by focusing on distinctive Belgian styles you rarely find elsewhere. You can sip on complex, fruity ales that showcase incredible craftsmanship.

The bright, spacious layout instantly makes you feel ready for relaxed conversation. Plus, the excellent location places you right near several other popular local attractions for a full day of fun.

That said, the biggest downside involves their schedule, as the business is closed on Mondays. This closure severely limits your options if you want an early-week outing. Plan your visit accordingly to ensure you don’t miss out on these fantastic Belgian brews.

Pros

  • Distinctive Belgian beer styles
  • Bright and spacious layout
  • Excellent tourist location
  • Highly welcoming group atmosphere

Cons

  • Closed on Mondays

If you’re checking out Nashville breweries, Fait la Force is an absolute must. The Gilded Age vibe paired with true to style crisp lager and Pilsner options quickly endeared me to today’s treasured find. Put the super kind bar staff on top and you have yourself a superb brewery experience.

Lovely brewery! Had two beers while here; a saison and a kellerbier collab with Barrique…both were tasty for their style. Space has an old timey charm yet also feels modern. Great views that are made even better with the ‘windows’ rolled up. I’ll definitely visit again as the beer and vibe match my kind of vibe.
