1. VN Pho & Deli

Address: 5906 Charlotte Pike
Contact: 615-423-2497
Hours: Monday & Thursday – Saturday: 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM, Sunday: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
N Pho & Deli leans heavily into authentic Vietnamese family recipes, maintaining a deep heritage rather than relying on modern fusion shortcuts.
What’s even more impressive is that everything, from the meats to their famous homemade chili oil, is prepared in-house from scratch.
During my recent visit, the lemongrass-forward broth instantly warmed me up and delivered a bold, perfectly balanced flavor profile. The generous portions also ensure you get massive value for your dollar.
What I also noticed is that the Luu family treats every guest with incredible warmth. You genuinely feel a sense of community the moment you step inside.
Just note that they operate on a strict cash-only policy. It’s a minor inconvenience that I can look past for the food.
Friendly staff fast service!
I’ve been here religiously every time I travel to Nashville. This IS the Vietnamese restaurant of my choice. The Bun Bo Hue, Hu Tieu, and Pho are my favorites! Friendly staff fast service! Remember to bring cash! ATM available inside though.

The Pho was delicious and fresh
Had a hard time finding a Vietnamese restaurant in Belle Meade but the Google showed me this. The Pho was delicious and fresh. I had the tofu Pho with beef broth. I definitely recommend coming here for a warm, filling bowl of PHO!

Hours: Mon – Sun: 10:30 AM – 8:30 PM
Health-conscious diners searching for pristine produce will appreciate the strong emphasis on fresh, high-quality ingredients at Pho Ann Nashville.
Beyond the fresh ingredients, I love that they prioritize authenticity and ensure every dish reflects true traditional flavors.
They also offer a wonderfully extensive menu that ventures far beyond standard noodle soups. Guests can easily explore hearty vermicelli bowls and classic Hanoi-style specialties all under one roof.
The dining room offers a clean, comfortable atmosphere for families looking to share a relaxing meal. You also receive incredibly attentive service from friendly staff.
Just keep in mind that their commitment to premium sourcing makes the menu slightly pricier than some local competitors’.
The building also sits outside the downtown core, meaning tourists might need to arrange a short drive.
The place is nicely decorated, clean and quiet
We really enjoyed our dinner at Pho Ann’s. The place is nicely decorated, clean and quiet .
All the dishes were well presented and nicely seasoned. The beef (60) was amazing (tender beef cubes) ; the pork a bit too tough for our liking.
Friendly staff and kid friendly too.

Pho Ann Nashville offers a delightful dining experience with friendly staff and a surprisingly pleasant restroom. The seafood noodle soup is a standout, packed with flavor, while the panna cotta provides a sweet, creamy finish. Highly recommend!

3. Viet Tea Cafe

Address: 5694 Nolensville Pike

Hours: Monday – Sunday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Satisfying a sweet tooth alongside a savory craving is entirely possible thanks to this clever dual-concept establishment. Viet Tea Cafe brilliantly merges a traditional restaurant with a specialty beverage and dessert shop.
You can easily pair a classic roasted pork sandwich on house-baked bread with a delightfully chewy mochi donut.
A close friend recently recommended I try their real fruit boba, and the freshness of the purees completely blew me away.
The highly customizable menu also makes it an ideal destination for groups with vastly different dietary preferences.
But if there’s one dish you have to try, it’s their signature eight-hour slow-cooked pho. It’s a massive draw for anyone seeking deep, rich aromatics.
I’m just not the biggest fan of their noodle broth. I’ve dined here several times, and I noticed that it lacks consistent depth and leans a bit greasy. Traditionalists might find the soup flavors slightly unpredictable on certain days.
Perfectly seasoned and again well balanced.
Found this wonderful Vietnamese restaurant that has incredible Pho!!! The BBQ Pork Banh Mi (sandwich) had the perfect balance of meat and veggies, on a great roll. Num! I split this with my honey, and he shared the most amazing Pho with me. Perfectly seasoned and again well balanced. Highly recommend!!!!

Nice people working here,friendly vibe.
Drove 30 minutes to get here. Why? Because it’s soooo good. What can I say, I’m a sucker for mochi donuts and Vietnamese iced coffee and the Viet Tea Cafe does not disappoint. So many tasty choices of donut🤤 and the coffee will keep me going all day. I had a Bahn MI sandwhich too- also extremely excellent. Nice people working here, friendly vibe. Someone at the next table had the beef pho and yes, next time I will definitely try that

4. Love Peace & Pho

Website: https://lovepeaceandpho.net/
Address: 2112 8th Ave S
Contact: (615) 942-0045
Hours: Mon – Sun: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM, Fri & Sat: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Love Peace & Pho focuses on premium quality while combining authentic staples with creative, modern culinary twists. You will find standard comfort foods served alongside highly innovative dishes like crispy rice clay pots.
Their signature broth is very rich and flavorful. They actually simmer it for over twenty hours, so it’s no wonder a lot of patrons keep coming back for it.
Every entrée is also prepared to order, ensuring that the crisp vegetables and tender proteins arrive perfectly fresh. This dedication to craft has earned them a stellar local reputation and numerous local media accolades.
The interior transports you into a cozy, pre-1940s-inspired environment that feels incredibly culturally immersive.
That said, the table service can occasionally feel rushed or inattentive during peak dining hours.
Also, some traditionalists feel the kitchen leans too heavily on lemongrass, resulting in slightly polarizing flavor profiles.
purely locally owned family restaurant
I spent a month in Vietnam and this is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Nashville. This is not super fancy place, but instead is a purely locally owned family restaurant.
Love their shrimp spring/summer rolls with the peanut sauce, pork bahn mi, and their pork pho. Delightful. We’ll be back, again!

hidden gem
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Peace, Love, and Pho in Nashville, TN, and it was simply fantastic! This hidden gem of a Vietnamese restaurant truly exceeded my expectations with its elevated dishes, wonderful ambiance, and, of course, their mouthwatering pho.

5. East Side Banh Mi

Website: https://www.eastsidebanhmi.com/
Address: 1000 Gallatin Ave.
Contact: (615) 953-7424
Hours: Monday – Sunday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
East Side Banh Mi uses authentic family recipes from Chef Gracie Nguyen to elevate this beloved street food into a fine-casual dining experience.
The kitchen combines locally sourced Tennessee ingredients with deeply traditional flavor profiles. They also bake their baguettes in-house daily to ensure the bread maintains a flawless, airy crunch.
Diners can choose from a wide array of satisfying proteins, including fantastic plant-based options like tofu and roasted eggplant.
The rotating seasonal menu is great too. It guarantees that repeat visitors always have something new and exciting to taste.
Because they operate within a highly specialized framework, you will not find large bowls of hot soup on the menu here. The interior seating is also quite limited, making takeout a much safer bet during the bustling lunch rush.
Best bread, and best sandwich
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Best bread, and best sandwich in Nashville. Banh mi is basically Vietnamese for sandwich. Do not sleep on this place, you will find this review and thank me later! Cheers!

Banh Mi is outstanding!
Great takes on Vietnamese classics and even specialty versions for the local crowd. Love the freshness and quality of ingredients. The roasted black pepper-caramel pork shoulder Banh Mi is outstanding! 🔥🔥🔥 Not a ton of seating for larger parties, however perfect for solo or small table lunchtime. Friendly service.
