The 5 Best Waterproofing Services in Nashville for Long-Term Protection

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Warranty Quality: A strong warranty protects your investment for years to come. We looked for companies offering lifetime or nationally backed guarantees.

Local Climate Expertise: Nashville has high humidity and heavy rainfall. Contractors must use systems specifically designed for this tough Middle Tennessee weather.

Transparent Pricing: Nobody likes surprise fees after a project starts. We prioritized businesses that offer free inspections and clear upfront quotes.

Customer Experience: High-pressure sales tactics are a major red flag. We favored teams that focus on education and low-stress consultations.

Specialization Level: General handymen often miss complex structural issues. We chose dedicated experts who specialize strictly in foundation and moisture control.

Dealing with water inside your home or building is incredibly stressful, especially when the city’s rain and humidity start wearing down foundations, basements, and crawl spaces. That’s why proper waterproofing shouldn’t be delayed.

Finding the best waterproofing in Nashville means looking past quick patches and choosing contractors who understand how local weather can damage your property over time.

As someone who knows how quickly moisture issues can turn into costly structural headaches, I understand why protecting your investment matters.

So here’s a carefully picked guide to reliable local waterproofing experts, whether you need an urgent repair or a long-term encapsulation plan.

How much does basement waterproofing cost in Nashville?

Finding the right crawl space team can be stressful, but Crawl Space Brothers immediately caught our attention with their lifetime transferable warranty on heavy-duty encapsulations.

That kind of coverage is a huge relief when you’re dealing with stubborn moisture under your home. It protects your investment in the long term and may even add resale value if you decide to move later.

We also like that they offer completely free, no-obligation inspections, making it easier for homeowners to understand the problem before committing.

Plus, their crew is responsive, clean, and careful during these intensive jobs. To ensure the work is done right, their general manager even personally checks every finished project before signing off.

Just be ready for higher upfront costs, since full professional waterproofing is definitely a premium service.

Pros

  • Lifetime transferable warranty
  • Heavy-duty encapsulations
  • Free no-obligation inspections
  • Responsive and careful crew
  • General manager checks completed work
  • Strong long-term moisture protection

Cons

  • Premium pricing

The prices are excellent

Crawl Space Brothers is truly the best. They have the best team of employees, the prices are excellent ( half as much as some bids), they  get the job done, then stand behind their work.  Best customer service too! We had our crawl space partially encapsulated 5 years ago, and it is still going great. Came out today to replace a part that was under warranty, and I was again reminded what a quality company this is!

Courteous, professional, and explained things really well

We needed some crawl space remediation and after calling around, Crawl Space Brothers were the most courteous, professional, and explained things really well. And, the cost was very reasonable. They were on time and explained the entire procedure during the initial inspection/estimate and again the day they came out to perform the procedure. We would definitely recommend them!

Address: 7209 Haley Industrial Dr. Suite 130, Office 1, Nolensville

Contact: (615) 235-3035

Hours: Available 24/7

One thing we noticed about Crawl Space Nash is their real around-the-clock availability and impressively fast emergency response times.

Their reliability matters when sudden flooding or burst pipes happen overnight, since having a crew ready at any hour can bring immediate peace of mind.

We also like that they avoid generic, one-size-fits-all fixes. Instead, they use advanced technology to tailor each system to the home’s specific structural challenges.

Their team also works quickly in tight crawl spaces without cutting corners on quality. Plus, they use premium vapor barriers designed to handle heavy local rainfall.

That said, their service scope is pretty limited. They only handle crawl spaces, so they’re not the right fit for full basement or exterior foundation work.

You’ll also need to schedule an inspection first, because they don’t provide upfront pricing online.

Pros

  • 24/7 emergency response
  • Custom crawl space solutions
  • Premium quality vapor barriers

Cons

  • Limited strictly to crawl spaces
  • No upfront pricing available online

Very communicative

We discovered crawl space issues during a pest inspection so reached out to several companies to get our crawl space encapsulated. We felt really good with going with Crawl Space Nash after speaking with AlI. He was really knowledgeable and didn’t pressure us into a decision. We had the work done while we were out of town and he was very communicative providing updates. I think Crawl Space Nash has a great balance of quality of work and price along with excellent customer service/experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Did a fantastic job getting everything done

We discovered some crawl space issues with a house inspection.  We reached out to several companies and Crawl Space Nash/Ali were the most responsive.  He came right out gave us our estimate and did a fantastic job getting everything done.  They worked in our schedule and time line.  Ali was a great person to work with and Andres did a fantastic job under the house.   These are the guys you want to help with your crawl space issues.

Contact: (629) 263-6365

Hours: Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Prioritizing homeowner education over pushy sales tactics, Crawlspace Medic of Nashville operates as a refreshingly honest specialist in crawl spaces and basements.

They stand out because their technicians don’t work on commission, meaning their recommendations are rooted in your home’s actual condition rather than unnecessary upgrades.

Local realtors also trust them for their remarkably honest evaluations, especially when crawl space problems could affect a home sale.

When we had them inspect our office’s own damp crawl space last spring, the process felt calm and pressure-free.

The technician simply showed us the moisture issue, explained what was happening, and offered phased solutions we could upgrade as our budget allowed.

That said, their expertise stays strictly beneath the house. For major yard grading or slab lifting, you’ll need a separate contractor.

Pros

  • Commission-free technicians
  • Phased budget-friendly options
  • Complete structural repairs
  • Highly trusted by local realtors

Cons

  • Hyper-specialized interior scope
  • No exterior yard grading services

Daniel from Crawlspace Medic provided a thorough assessment of my Crawlspace that included pics and video. We recently looked into Performance Waterproofing LLC, and their ability to combine long-term commercial protection with large-scale project handling is genuinely impressive.

With over 2 decades of specialized experience, their work on major local projects such as Centennial Medical Center demonstrates they can handle demanding, high-traffic properties.

From what we’ve seen, they’re especially skilled at managing complex water intrusion issues in parking structures and busy office towers.

To keep operations running smoothly, they follow a structured service process designed to reduce disruptive noise, mess, and downtime for active tenants.

They even partner with top-tier manufacturers such as Tremco and BASF, enabling them to offer robust material warranties lasting up to 20 years.

With that kind of coverage, they’re ideal for commercial buildings where water damage can become a major structural and financial problem.

On the downside, Performance Waterproofing LLC strictly serves commercial and industrial clients, so homeowners with leaky basements will need to look elsewhere.

The Performance Waterproofing team did an exceptional job in diagnosing and fixing numerous water leaks for a building we purchased in Huntsville, AL. Daniel and the team were prompt and professional in their communication and execution of the work. We’re very happy with their attention to detail and knowledge of how to prevent any unwanted leaks. Would highly recommend!

Operating under a massive national corporate network, AFS Foundation and Waterproofing Specialists give homeowners the rare security of highly reliable, nationally backed warranties.

With their long-term guarantees, they feel especially dependable, since you’re not relying on a small local contractor that could suddenly disappear.

Beyond basic waterproofing fixes, they install exclusive American-made systems instead of standard retail materials.

Their heavy-duty proprietary vapor barriers are especially useful in humid southern climates, where moisture protection needs to last.

As for their crews, it’s notable that they’ve earned consistent praise for working efficiently and thoroughly cleaning up after messy excavation jobs.

Just keep in mind that this level of corporate backing comes with premium pricing. Their initial quotes often run higher than smaller competitors, and post-project support can sometimes feel slow due to communication delays.

  • Heavy-duty vapor barriers
  • Efficient, clean local crews

Cons

The best company representative I have ever dealt with

Rhys Lucena-Jones is possibly the best company representative I have ever dealt with.

He knew his job and was so personable!

He got me a copy of my original work order and warranty. I’d either never had, or lost them.

I hope, if I ever need to contact AFS for any reason, they send Rhys to assist me.

He is terrific.

Very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough

Nick Cianciolo, my Service Technician, did an excellent job. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. He educated me on my issues, but did not pressure me to make a decision today. I would highly recommend him & AFS.
