Santa’s Pub always feels like it’s the holidays, not just because of its bright and jolly decor, but also the ever-present lively atmosphere. Doing karaoke here is the best because you won’t get that dead air where you’re singing on stage and everyone is preoccupied.
It’s a dive bar fully committed to karaoke to the point where people now include singing here in their Nashville bucket list. This is more impressive when you realise that there aren’t any fancy sound systems—just the pure spirit of Music City in full display.
Pro tip: It’s a cash-only establishment, so if you want to enjoy their drinks and get a spot on the stage, forget your cards and e-wallets—cash is king! |

Rosie’s Twin Kegs isn’t just a great karaoke spot, but a fantastic foodie destination as well. They’re widely known for their delicious homemade smashed burgers, which dazzle the classic sandwich with ingredients like pimento cheese, crispy fried onions, grilled mushrooms, etc.
Come Friday and Saturday night, however, the bar turns into one of the liveliest night out spots in the city, featuring an open-mic karaoke. There’s no judgment here, so feel free to jam out to your favourite songs on stage, because the crowd will definitely sing along!
We also love this place because of its wide selection of draft beer on tap. They offer various delicious flavours that instantly give you magical powers of confidence to take centre stage-we haven’t scientifically proven that latter part.
Pro tip: Don’t miss out on their chicken wings as well, especially if you’re visiting with friends. You can get them in the traditional mild buffalo sauce, but you have to try the lemon pepper! |

AJ’s Good Time Bar is one of the highlights on Broadway Street in Downtown Nashville. It consists of three floors of pure fun and utter love for music, with the third being solely dedicated to karaoke nightly!
In true Music City fashion, everyone is welcome in the karaoke bar, as the sound system features a virtually endless songbook. Also, we love how they put an actual elevated stage for you to perform classic hits to make you feel like you’re in your own sold-out show.
If you’re feeling shy and would rather sit on the sidelines, however, be sure to check out the second floor to enjoy some authentic live country music. Meanwhile, head to the rooftop bar if you want to treat yourself to some fantastic views and some of the best cocktails in town.
Pro tip: Get some fresh beer on tap on the ground floor before making your way up to the live music venue and karaoke floors! |

It’s also one of those karaoke spots with a vast array of hits, courtesy of the live DJ, so be sure to tip if you can. With the selection of hits and cold beer served by the most personable hostesses, this place never has a dull moment.

Address: 101 20th Ave N
Contact details: +1 615-551-2700
Operating hours: Thursday to Friday: 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM
Cost: $$
Cross-Eyed Critters offers one of the most varied drink menus in Nashville, offering various spirits, cocktails, beers, and everything in between. This is extremely appropriate, as you’d need as many resources to fuel your confidence and take centre stage!
It also holds a special place in our hearts because we love the overall intimate setting that makes you feel like you’re singing to a sold-out show during karaoke. The lights are dim, every table has candle lights, and there are even balcony-seating!
Foodies will also get a kick out of Cross-Eyed Critters because of its wide selection of light bites that go perfectly well with their alcoholic drinks. You can’t go wrong with any of them, but we must recommend the Critters Quesabirria because of its delicious cheesy pork fillings.
Pro tip: If you’re visiting with friends, we recommend getting the fries supreme, which is akin to animal fries found in In-N-Out, but dare I say, much better! |

The karaoke room itself features great acoustics, so you can expect to sound fantastic, regardless of whether you’re on key or not. Furthermore, the songbook is constantly refreshed, so you could try your hand at the latest chart toppers or stick to the classics.
Of course, you can’t leave without trying their authentic Asian food. Their hotpot is especially amazing, as they feature a fantastic selection of broths, meats, fresh veggies, and seafood.
Pro tip: If you’re looking for something light to chow down on while singing your favourite hits, we recommend ordering a portion of their spring rolls! |
Sid Gold’s Request Room
– Media credit: climbbikerun
Address: 3245 Gallatin Pike
Contact details: +1 629-800-5847
Operating hours:
Cost: $$
Sid’s Gold Request Room is one of the most elegant karaoke spots in Nashville, boasting warm lighting, classy counters, fancy light fixtures, etc. Don’t be fooled by its extravagant looks, however, as karaoke nights here are just as lively and fun as those in other bars!
What separates it from your typical karaoke bars, however, is that your backing track will be that of a live pianist. This instantly adds a touch of elegance and Billy Joel to your performance, regardless of the genre.
The food selection is just as good, too, featuring small plates such as chicken quesadillas to charcuterie boards, etc. However, what completes each karaoke session is one of their specialty cocktails—hint: get the Velvet Underground.
Pro tip: Consider bringing your non-alcoholic friends here! They can enjoy singing with one of the bar’s refreshing mocktails. |

The Lipstick Lounge welcomes all walks of life, with the only requirement being that you know how to have fun. It offers one of the liveliest karaoke rooms, literally and figuratively, thanks to its vibrant decor and the ever-present good vibes promoted by the bar itself and its patrons.
It’s customary that everyone sings along to the person on stage, so don’t worry about first-time jitters, as they’ll quickly go away. The overall bar itself is also worth highlighting because of its tasteful wooden floors and furnishings, and colourful decorations.
Lastly, The Lipstick Lounge is also known for its fantastic selection of food—case in point, their Beef Boy Burgers, which feature their signature massive patty. They also offer snacks that are perfect for sharing, such as cheesy fries, nachos, and buffalo wings!
Pro tip: Check out the Upper Lip as well! It’s the bar’s cigar lounge, where you’ll find a colourful collection of cigars and a space fit for relaxing. |

One of the reasons why we love going here for karaoke is their extensive song list. From country to rock, bubblegum pop, and everything in between, the variety of genres featured here is unmatched!
Moreover, the bar is always ready to whip up something good that will give you that much-needed boost of confidence before getting the mic. If you’re waiting on your turn, however, you can let loose in a game of competitive pool!
Pro tip: While you’re here, be sure to check out the rest of Printer’s Alley’s selection of bars to enjoy the best possible nightlife experience. |
Fran’s
– Media credit: moonham_69
Address: 2504 Dickerson Pike
Contact details: +1 615-891-3530
Operating hours: Daily from 10:00 AM to 3:00 AM
Cost: $
Fran’s is your no-frills karaoke bar, where you can head in, get a few drinks, and start belting out your favourite songs. The set-up is more like an open mic where you’ll perform in front of the stage, with strangers watching on—without any judgment, of course!
You can even bring your own instrument if you want to REALLY show off your musical skills. Regardless, you’ll be cheered on and even be sung along to by other patrons of the bar.
The overall vibe of the place feels like it’s in one of those Hollywood movies where a standoff usually happens, with its neon-lit signage, open bar, and pool tables. Don’t worry, though, as the only standoffs you’ll encounter here are singing showdowns!
Pro tip: Follow their official Instagram page to stay in the loop on their upcoming events for the month! |
