Hear me out, setting the stage for your wedding is tougher than the ceremony itself. Sometimes, there just aren’t enough places that speak to you and your partner, but in our case, it’s the complete opposite, as Nashville is home to tons of dreamy wedding venues.
Of course, we ultimately had to decide on one venue, but there were so many options that my team provided that unfortunately had to be on the chopping block—until today! To make my team’s research not be in vain, we’ve decided to share some of our prospects here.
We figured this is the best time for these venues to shine and maybe even make someone else’s dream wedding come true. So, whether you’re looking for Instaworthy spots (instagrammable places Nashville) or something simple, keep on reading!

Setting your wedding somewhere historic is always a great idea, but finding something that’s equally elegant is a different story. Union Station is among our top prospects because it ticks both boxes: it was once a train terminal and has retained its architectural charm.
The main highlight of the venue is the beautiful barrel-shaped stained glass ceiling, which spans 65 feet, located in the hotel’s main lobby. It’s also dotted with beautiful design elements, including marbled floors, glistening chandeliers, and fireplaces.
Aside from the Grand Hall, The Union also offers a veranda, which is an open-space venue that can accommodate up to 250 guests. If you want something more old-timey aside from the hall, however, you and 200 other guests can gather in the Hummingbird ballroom.
Pro tip: Consider in-house catering instead of outsourcing! The place offers an amazing wedding menu compiled by its own talented chefs, and it features both a starter and a main—extra tip: go for their 6oz fillet of beef.

If you can’t make up your mind between having a Victorian or a garden wedding, The Cordelle should be on your radar because it offers both! For starters, it provides a beautiful outdoor oasis shaded by stunning greenery, including a hundred-year-old hackberry tree.
If the trees aren’t enough to provide shade, the venue also offers tents for rent, which, in our opinion, adds more charm to the venue! The garden is quite spacious, spanning over 5,000 square feet and accommodating up to 350 guests.
Meanwhile, you can opt for The Victorian for something more intimate that can still accommodate all your guests. It’s a beautifully preserved room that looks straight out of the 1800s, with its antique fireplace, dark hardwood floors, and exposed brick walls.
Pro tip: Consider this place if you want your event’s drinks to be taken care of! They offer an in-house beverage director who can carefully curate a selection of buzzing cocktails for your after-party!

Wightman Chapel stands out to us because of its striking Gothic architecture, with its high ceilings and pointed arches. It’s not just for show, either, as this design is perfectly preserved from its original design when it was originally built in 1928.
It’s the perfect choice for those who want to do a traditional church wedding, but don’t want to settle for a boring-looking chapel. Furthermore, it can accommodate up to 300 people, which is apt for a grand place like this and a ceremony like yours.
Furthermore, the area surrounding the chapel itself offers various backdrops for stunning photos, whether it be the courtyard or the reception halls. Lastly, we recommend this spot because it also offers in-house catering services and rentals for tables, chairs, etc.
Pro tip: You can also book a lodging on campus to make the event more convenient for you and your guests. You can choose between private houses, apartments and residence halls, depending on the number of attendees.

The great thing about Mint Springs Farm is that it offers different venues for each need. For instance, the main ceremony takes place in their outdoor pavilion, which, by the way, is decorated beautifully with chandeliers and wooden pews.
