Get relief sooner with the 5 best clinics for wisdom tooth removal in Nashville

clinics-for-wisdom-tooth-removal-in-nashville
We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Specialist Credentials: I looked for clinics with oral surgeons who regularly handle impacted wisdom teeth. Strong surgical training matters when extractions involve nerves, bone, or deeper sedation.

Anesthesia Options: I checked whether each clinic offers sedation choices for anxious patients. IV sedation and careful monitoring can make the appointment feel much less stressful.

Technology Used: I considered how each practice uses imaging before surgery. Clear 3D scans help surgeons plan safer extractions and avoid sensitive areas.

Accessibility: I looked at appointment flexibility, location, and referral requirements. A clinic may offer excellent care, but extra steps can still make booking harder.

Wisdom tooth pain can make simple things like chewing or sleeping feel harder than they should.

When I searched for the best wisdom tooth removal in Nashville, I looked for clinics that make the process feel less intimidating. I also considered how easy each clinic makes pricing conversations and recovery support.

Some patients only need a simple extraction, while others need detailed imaging and sedation support for impacted teeth. That’s why nearby dental clinics can also be helpful when you’re comparing care options.

How much does wisdom tooth removal cost in Nashville?

Wisdom tooth removal in Nashville usually costs $200 to $800 for one simple extraction, while a full set can reach $1,000 to $2,500+ when teeth are impacted, or sedation is needed.

Procedure TypeEstimated Cost
Single tooth removal$200 to $800
All four wisdom teeth$1,000 to $2,500+

1. Hermitage Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

hermitage-oral-and-maxillofacial-surgery

Website: hermitageos.com

Address: 616 Brandywine Village Ct, Old Hickory

Contact: (615) 883-0067 | [email protected]

Hours: Mon, Tue, Thu 8 AM-4:30 PM; Wed 8 AM-12 PM; Fri 8 AM-3 PM; Sat-Sun Closed

Scheduling an extraction is easier when you don’t have to chase a referral first. That’s why Hermitage Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is helpful for patients who want to book consultations directly when pain or crowding starts to feel urgent.

The board-certified surgeons use 3D imaging to map tooth position before surgery. And I love that same-day IV sedation is available for patients who want the visit to feel more manageable.

I also like that the practice discusses pricing clearly and accepts flexible financing, since oral surgery can become a sudden expense.

The main drawback is accessibility. The office closes early midweek, has no weekend appointments, and the Old Hickory location may be a long drive for some patients.

Pros

  • No referral needed
  • Board-certified surgeons
  • Same-day IV sedation
  • Advanced 3D imaging

Cons

  • No weekend appointments
  • Single Old Hickory location
  • Closes early midweek

Great experience from start to finish

We had a great experience at Hermitage Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for my son’s wisdom teeth removal. The staff was timely, friendly, and very professional. The office itself is beautiful and made the whole process feel calm and comfortable (even a warm fireplace). The doctor called that evening to personally check on how my son was doing, which meant a lot to us. Highly recommend ~ truly a great experience from start to finish.

Positive experience having wisdom teeth extracted

What a positive experience having wisdom teeth extracted. As an older patient I had lots of concerns, But what a wonderful staff, facility, and reassuring Dr. Dr Yazbak spent time explaining what was to happen, nursing staff handled me with kid gloves and the procedure went so smoothly. I highly recommend Hermitage Oral Surgery! Five stars for sure!

2. Solace Implant Center & Oral Surgery

solace-implant-center-oral-surgery

Website: solaceoralsurgery.com

Address: 1707 State St

Contact: (615) 320-1392 | [email protected]

Hours: By appointment

For patients with dental anxiety, sedation support is the biggest reason to look here.

Solace Implant Center & Oral Surgery offers multiple comfort options to make the treatment less overwhelming.

And I like that they take time during consultations to explain what the scan shows before treatment begins. That kind of walkthrough can make an impacted wisdom tooth feel less mysterious and less scary.

The team also moves efficiently during surgery, provides a recovery kit, and follows up after the procedure so patients aren’t left guessing at home during the first sore recovery days.

The catch is scheduling. Appointments depend heavily on one surgeon’s calendar. Also, the State Street location may not be convenient if you live far from Midtown.

Pros

  • Multiple sedation options
  • Detailed pre-surgical consults
  • Strong recovery support
  • Efficient surgical process

Cons

  • One State Street location
  • Surgeon-dependent scheduling

3. Tennessee Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons

tennessee-oral-and-maxillofacial-surgeons

Website: tnoralsurgery.com

Address: 4322 Harding Pike, Suite 201

Contact: (615) 829-7000

Hours: Mon-Fri 8 AM-4 PM; Sat-Sun Closed

Tennessee Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons uses high-resolution 3D imaging to map the surgical area before removing impacted wisdom teeth. This is especially helpful for complex extractions, where nerve location and bone position need careful planning.

The doctors handle a wide range of oral surgery cases, so this feels like a strong choice if a standard dental office has already referred you out.

Their in-house IV sedation and trained monitoring staff also help the appointment feel safer for nervous patients who don’t want to stay fully alert.

The main downside is cost and scope. Specialist fees can be higher than those of a regular dental clinic, and you’ll still need a separate dentist for cleanings and fillings.

Pros

  • Specialized surgical expertise
  • Advanced in-house sedation
  • High-resolution 3D imaging
  • Central Nashville location

Cons

  • Higher specialist costs
  • No general dentistry services

Quick and painless experience

Dr. Haley removed 2 of my wisdom teeth about 10 days ago. It was a quick and painless experience and I’ve had very little discomfort during my recovery. He was kind and reassuring throughout the entire process. The office was also very organized and proactive with handling insurance, which was a plus.

4. Green Hills Oral Surgery

green-hills-oral-surgery

Website: greenhillsoralsurgery.com

Address: 990 Hillsboro Pike, Ste 350

Contact: (615) 385-1644 | [email protected]

Hours: Mon-Thu 8 AM-4:30 PM; Fri 8 AM-1 PM; Sat-Sun Closed

Green Hills Oral Surgery pairs board-certified care with modern planning tools, including AI-enhanced diagnostics and hospital-grade anesthesia options for more complex removals.

That can be reassuring if you’re nervous about surgery and want a setting that feels more controlled.

The clinic also uses LightScalpel CO2 laser technology for related soft-tissue work. In some cases, that may help reduce swelling and make recovery feel a little easier.

I like that the setting feels more relaxed than a traditional surgical office, especially for people who already feel anxious about extractions or sedation.

The trade-off is price and schedule. This premium setup can cost more than basic extraction care, and the office doesn’t offer weekend appointments for busy patients.

Pros

  • Board-certified specialist
  • LightScalpel recovery support
  • AI-enhanced surgical planning
  • Hospital-grade anesthesia

Cons

  • Higher specialist pricing
  • No weekend appointments

Incredibly kind, professional, and attentive

Dr. Adamiak and his staff were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive while caring for my daughter during her wisdom teeth extractions. Beth was amazing at explaining everything and helping us feel comfortable. My daughter did wonderfully post-op with only mild pain, minimal swelling, and no bruising at all. We are so grateful to Dr. Adamiak and his entire team for the excellent care and outstanding results!

Best dental experiences I’ve ever had

Recently got my wisdom teeth removed here and this was easily one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had. From the front desk associate Mrs. Beth, to one of the nurses Mrs. Angela, and of course Dr. Adamiak. They were all so kind, patient, caring, and flexible. Any questions I had were answered, they didn’t hesitate explaining everything, and they gave options on what care plan(s) would work best for me. I highly recommend Dr. Adamiak and his team.

5. OMS Nashville: Oral Surgery & Dental Implants

oms-nashville-oral-surgery-dental-implants

Website: omsnashville.com

Address: 2011 Ashwood Ave

Contact: (615) 620-8030

Hours: Mon-Fri 8 AM-5 PM; Sat-Sun Closed

OMS Nashville has multiple Middle Tennessee offices, which makes the clinic easier to consider if you don’t want to rely on one location. That accessibility is the big advantage here, especially for patients who need more scheduling flexibility.

The team performs wisdom tooth removals often, so the process can feel more routine from consultation to recovery. Their assistants are certified in dental anesthesia support, and many extractions are finished quickly once treatment starts.

That experience is helpful if you want a clinic that handles this procedure every day and can keep the visit moving.

The main catch is the intake process. You need a dentist referral before booking surgery, and pricing is only confirmed after an in-person consultation, which adds extra steps before you can plan the final cost.

Pros

  • Multiple Middle Tennessee offices
  • Fast extraction workflow
  • Anesthesia-certified assistants
  • Decades of clinical experience

Cons

  • In-person pricing only
  • Dentist referral required

Oh my goodness!  It was awesome.  I am 79 years old and my Dentist referred me to OMS and Dr Richardson to pull a bad decaying wisdom tooth.  He put me out and on leaving OMS and going home I never had a monument of pain.  Truthfully it was painless!  Also Delaney and Kasey were so very nice, welcoming and professional in all they did to explain things to me.   I love those girls and would highly recommend OMS to everyone!!!!!!
