Music City Window Tinting impressed us with its portfolio, which included residential and commercial properties and various car models. Furthermore, they offered many shades for their auto tinting service based on the client’s priorities, such as privacy, style, and UV protection.
What caught our attention, however, was their premium-quality Llumar films for their property tinting services. We reached out to homeowners who had these installed, and they reported that their homes felt noticeably cooler afterwards.
Llumar films are also known for their durability, as they’re made out of heavy-duty polyester and strong adhesives, designed to withstand earthquakes.
Clients also highlighted the seamless workmanship of the installers, saying that there were no bubbles or smudges. They were also pleased with the overall process of Music City Window Tinting, starting from the free quotation to the installation itself.
We just wish that they were also open on weekends for better accessibility. Also, it’s worth noting that they lack mobile tinting services for cars.

Black Optix Tint offers some of the most premium detailing services in Nashville, and it just so happened that they also provide tinting services for both cars and properties.
We spoke to clients who had their cars installed with Black Optix Tints’ films, and they highlighted the quick turnaround time of the service. They also told us how they didn’t mind waiting, as the sleek garage offered an upscale, comfy waiting area.
The company’s variety of films is great as well, offering different shades while retaining the same world-class durability. We also appreciate that they provide customised property tints that match the home/office’s existing style.
Visiting their showroom/store was fun and impressive, too, as they offered interactive displays, where the tint is shone with UV light to see their effectiveness.
However, premium services and products such as these come at a cost. Fortunately, the company does offer flexible financing options.

Apex Tint & Customs LLC was one of our top picks because of their 20+ years of experience. It was fantastic to speak with their previous clients over the years and hear nothing but positive reviews regarding their quality of work.
One of the most highlighted factors about the company was its lifetime warranty, which they described as legit and a testament to their confidence in their workmanship. We’ve also seen before-and-after photos of clients’ homes and cars, and they were all free from imperfections.
The turnaround time for their services was mentioned as well, with some stating that the installers finished the task in their home in just under two hours.
The same quickness can also be said of their response time. Whether it be through their free quotations online or by phone, clients stated that the company is guaranteed to respond in under an hour.

Right off the bat, we want to preface that American Window Film doesn’t do auto window tinting. However, we can’t pass up on them due to their selection of premium-quality films for commercial and residential properties.
They offer films that are purely for decoration, as well as functional ones that protect properties from harmful heat, graffiti, and even theft! We spoke to storeowners who installed security films, and they said that it has helped them sleep soundly at night, knowing their windows are durable.
Previous clients also shared their satisfaction with the finished product of their windows. They said that the team’s attentiveness towards their personal preferences and needs resulted in them getting the right shade and type of film for their homes.
What cemented our confidence in their services, however, was their strong portfolio of commercial clients. From office buildings to storefronts, they’ve lent their expertise in just about every type of business.
