1. 5th & Taylor

Website: 5thandtaylor.com
Address: 1411 5th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37208
Contact: 615-242-4747 | [email protected]
Hours: Sunday to Thursday 5:00PM–8:30PM | Friday to Saturday 5:00PM–9:15PM
Are you trying to coordinate a corporate dinner but dreading the typical sterile banquet hall? 5th & Taylor solves this by offering an immersive, architecturally stunning space.
The venue was created by Chef Daniel Lindley (the founder) to mimic a warm, residential dining room.
Their premium mid-sized gallery room comfortably accommodates up to 160 guests, making it a dream for event planners. A raised room layout neatly separates your private party from the main bar.
The raw warehouse interior is softened with oversized two-way mirrors, creating a stylish backdrop while the smoky scent of the wood-burning grill wafts through the air.
Unfortunately, securing a fully private buyout carries a remarkably steep starting price tag. The restaurant also cuts off reservation availability early during standard workdays, potentially complicating early gatherings.
Dined in the large function room for a family wedding rehearsal dinner. Perfect sized room to fit for a semi cozy dining area. We had a private bar and space for commingling. Attentive staff. Food was excellent. Beer can chicken was so juicy, flavorful, crispy brussel sprouts. Whipped mashed potatoes. Might have been the best meal the whole trip.

Hours: Brunch: Monday to Thursday 7:00AM–2:00PM | Friday to Sunday 8:00AM–2:00PM | Dinner: Sunday to Thursday 5:00PM–9:00PM | Friday to Saturday 5:00PM–10:00PM
Finding a genuinely intimate spot for a small family gathering or private celebration often leads to cramped, noisy tables. Marsh House shifts that narrative.
The restaurant’s dedicated gathering room features breathtaking floor-to-ceiling windows, treating your guests to sweeping views of the vibrant neighborhood.
I booked this exact room last spring for a birthday dinner, and sitting around their single, massive family-style table made the evening feel incredibly connected.
You can elevate the meal by ordering their extravagant specialty seafood towers, paired beautifully with selections from their award-winning wine program.
Their kitchen has a highly specific Gulf Coast culinary focus, merging classic Southern traditions with impeccably sourced seafood. The oysters alone taste like a perfect, salty ocean breeze.
The only major catch is the strict capacity limit, as the space absolutely cannot fit more than 18 people. You will also face a penalty fee if you decide to bring an outside celebratory cake instead of ordering their dessert.
Went in for a Thu night business dinner with a group of 9. Service was on point.. vibes were chic, rustic.. upscale without the snobbiness (ie approachable, laid back). Food was good!
Standouts were the shrimp toast shareables, watermelon and whipped feta salad.. and halibut (each bite was buttery.. fish was cooked to perfection)
Desserts and wines all delivered. Great spot overall!

Securing a venue that excites a trendy, energetic crowd can be tricky, especially when most formal dining rooms feel a bit stiff.
STK Steakhouse intentionally shatters traditional expectations by offering a hybrid venue concept that merges upscale dining with a chic, high-energy lounge atmosphere.
The space feels distinctly modern and sultry, completely stepping away from the predictable wood-paneled steakhouse aesthetic.
Planners looking to throw a memorable bash will love the integrated entertainment systems, complete with advanced lighting and dedicated infrastructure for a live Disc Jockey (DJ).
You also get the direct assistance of a specialized event coordination team to manage every minor detail of your gathering.
Food-wise, they serve up sizzling, buttery cuts of beef your guests will absolutely love.
Just keep in mind that customizing a menu and booking these spaces comes with a hefty baseline price per person. Additionally, attendees will have to rely on paid lots nearby, as the business offers absolutely zero complimentary parking or validation.
OMG, had a lovely Thanksgiving Dinner with my family and friends at STK Steakhouse in Nashville, TN. The parking was excellent, within steps of the front door of the restaurant. You’re met with a gorgeous “red” bull statue at the entrance which puts you on notice as to the exact meaning of what fine dining is about to happen. We were greeted and our party of 10 was whisked away to a larger private dining room were there was excellent chairs/tables set up as well as a television on the wall.

Entertaining out-of-town clients usually requires a venue that delivers incredible food alongside a memorable, localized atmosphere.
Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse nails this balance by offering uniquely themed private rooms decorated with authentic, iconic country music memorabilia.
When I hosted a dinner here last winter, the sophisticated marble fireplace and antique stained glass in our private room completely elevated the mood.
When it comes to the menu, they consistently serve top-tier, nationally recognized prime cuts of beef that absolutely melt on your tongue, setting a high bar for luxury dining in the city.
Beyond their famous steaks, they offer a creative sushi menu that rivals any Asian restaurant in the downtown circuit.
Another hidden gem inside the venue is a historical homage room featuring a 200-year-old apothecary cabinet filled with exclusive spirits.
But one frustrating aspect is their strict expiration policy on loyalty points, which vanish after 24 months. Corporate organizers are also prohibited from transferring these rewards to company accounts.
I hosted a private dinner for a group of friends in the smaller private dining room, and we had a great time. Todd was our server. He was also the sommelier. He did a fantastic job attending to us. All the food was great, and everyone was happy. We will be back.

We had a company event in the private dining room recently. We had amazing appetizers, delicious drinks and the staff were absolutely fabulous.
I had a filet and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had.
Clayton (I think that was his name) was wonderful and had such a great vibe with our group. We like to eat, drink and have fun and he was right there with us and made the experience even better.

5. Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina

Address: 201 8th Ave S 34th floor
Contact: +1 (629) 208-8440 | 629.208.8373 | [email protected]
Hours: Sunday to Thursday 5:00PM–10:00PM | Friday to Saturday 5:00PM–10:30PM
Finding an upscale venue that leaves a lasting visual impression before the food even arrives is a tall order.
Bourbon Steak effortlessly achieves this with sweeping, panoramic city views from its 34th-floor location, offering a breathtaking perspective of the downtown skyline.
Planners will also appreciate the built-in, high-definition displays available in specific rooms for media presentations.
The concept is spearheaded by Chef Michael Mina (the Michelin-starred culinary director), ensuring a highly prestigious and expertly curated gastronomic experience.
Their proprietary meat preparation involves slow-poaching prime cuts in seasoned beef tallow before finishing them over a crackling wood-burning grill.
This meticulous method results in an exceptionally tender, flavor-packed bite that stands out among the top fine dining restaurants in the area.
However, hosts must strictly pre-select items from a limited private menu for parties exceeding a dozen guests. The establishment also flatly refuses to split checks, requiring a single payer for the final bill.
The views of this restaurant and its ambiance are simply amazing! Enjoyed a private dining experience here for a couples’ dinner. Our server, Chad, was awesome! He has such a radiant personality, and helped us to enjoy our evening from start to finish. The food was delicious! The lobster pot pie was so good with a nice presentation! Everything was cooked to perfection! Definitely will visit here again!!

Great place to do company formal events. Two private dining rooms with great atmosphere and a view. The main room is better for the view for obvious reason. Booking the room was interesting and touchy at times with Mrs. Bonacorsi. Even when my credit card information was somehow compromised there they were sure to follow up. Not certain the actions taken, however it was a great view of the city.
