When we got to the airport at 1 in the morning, we already assumed that we wouldn’t be able to rent a car by then as Enterprise Rent-A-Car will already be closed during that time. To our surprise though, the rental desk stayed open until 3 in the morning!
So if you’re arriving late at the airport and would love to rent a car right off the bat, this car rental facility would be the one for you.
While walk-ins can be accommodated, we also suggest making a reservation a few weeks before your arrival.
We liked that booking to the actual pickup was relatively smooth. And since the staff had already prepared all the paperwork, we didn’t even have to wait for too long before we got the keys.
And for those renting a sedan, don’t be surprised if you’ll be upgraded to rent an SUV instead. This car rental facility has limited sedan cars on their fleet, so if someone happens to rent ahead of you, an upgrade is highly possible—but don’t worry, it’s free!
Drop-off is just the same as the pick-up point, so it’s pretty accessible if you have a flight to catch. Just don’t forget to fill up the gas tank before dropping off the vehicle.

We experienced a slight delay during pickup, maybe because it was during the peak hours in the airport. The receptionist was even apologetic, as she was multitasking, just to make sure she could accommodate our booking faster.
Nonetheless, we still admired them for their good client service. They even offered us water while we waited for our turn.
We loved that they asked questions about our itinerary so they could help suggest which car would be the best fit for our trip. Their staff even helped us load our bags into the car, which was a thoughtful touch.
We noticed that they have extremely clean vehicles—inside and out! We checked almost five options, but we were surprised that there were no nasty cigarette smells left on any of the cars—some of them even smelled like they were still brand new!
Meanwhile, when we returned the car, we were honestly expecting to do more paperwork, including extensive car checks, but it was one of the simplest ones we’ve experienced!
Just keep in mind that Alamo Rent-A-Car can only process credit card transactions.

Here’s our quick tip for you, though: if you want your booking to be processed a little faster, try booking for a car while your plane’s taxiing to the gate. Once your bags are with you, just walk straight to their parking spot and choose your car.
While waiting for our booking to be processed, one of the service representatives noticed that there were additional discounts that they could offer, allowing us to save more for our car rental.
Another thing that we loved about this car rental company is that they check the cars first before turning it over to another client. This allows them to see if there were valuables left by the previous renters.
In fact, we’ve experienced it first hand when one of our friends left her makeup pouch inside the glove box. We also appreciated that they were the ones to contact us first.
We just wish that they had more selection of luxury cars, including convertible ones. So if you’re looking into renting executive cars, make sure to check their current lineup first to manage your expectations.

Budget Car Rental isn’t named that for no reason, so if you’re well, working on a tight budget, then this car rental facility is the one for you!
When we booked a car three months ago, it was relatively easy to fill out their online form. After submitting the form, we were able to get confirmation through text.
When we got to the area, we just presented the text to one of their staff at the counter, and we were able to proceed right away. Just be mindful of your arrival time at the airport, as these guys are known to close on time.
If you’re arriving past midnight, they may not be a great choice for you.
What we liked most about dealing with Budget Car Rental is that we don’t have to fill the gas tank before we return it. It definitely saves us time and effort, which we highly appreciate.
Of course, budget car rentals have a catch, too. So don’t expect to see brand new cars in their fleet.
But don’t worry about your safety, as they still take these cars to their regular maintenance. However, we’re still not pleased with their cleanliness as we found some cars to be quite dusty inside.
