Address: 201 1st Ave S, Nashville, TN 37201

Contact: 615-622-7772

Hours: Mon – Wed: 11:00 am – 10:00 pm, Thu – Fri: 10:00 am – 11:00 pm, Sat: 9:00 am – 11:00 pm, Sun: 9:00 am – 10:00 pm

The Hampton Social brings a bright, coastal-inspired atmosphere right to the middle of the city. You’ll get a relaxing, vacation-like dining experience filled with fresh sea salt vibes. I visited last month with friends, and the airy rooftop setting totally transformed our afternoon.

They offer a dedicated menu bursting with zesty, seafood-focused dishes. Their vibrant “Rosé All Day” lounge area is incredibly popular for a sweet, refreshing drink. Live acoustic music plays in the background, adding to the fun vibe.

On the downside, the highly stylized environment gets quite loud during peak weekend hours. It can be hard to hear your tablemates over the buzzing crowd. However, the overall energy makes it a great spot for lively celebrations.

Pros

  • Lively multi-level layout
  • Fresh seafood dishes
  • “Rosé All Day” lounge
  • Live acoustic music

Cons

  • Loud during peak hours

My husband and I visited the Hampton Social to catch up with one of his lifelong friends, and it was the perfect setting. The space is beautifully decorated, with a fun, vibrant aesthetic and endless photo opportunities. We went for brunch, and I had the Garden Scramble—it was delicious and just the right portion. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

First time in Nashville for a birthday and had a group brunch. We were sat 25 mins late past our reservation but the staff was very kind and gave the table a few plates of appetizers as an apology. It was a pleasant surprise and very much appreciated as we were all very hungry. The croissant egg sandwich with pork belly was amazing – highly recommend. Large portion of pork belly. My husband ordered the wagyu burger which tasted good as well. I would come back as the food was good and the staff were friendly and hospitable.

2. Biscuit Love Gulch

Website: https://www.biscuitlove.com/menu-gulch

Address: 316 11th Ave South, Nashville, TN 37203

Contact: 615-490-9584

Hours: Daily: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm

Biscuit Love Gulch serves up steaming, classic Southern comfort food made entirely from scratch. They emphasize locally sourced ingredients from regional farms to craft their beloved menu. Their unique pastry dish combining a fluffy doughnut and a buttery biscuit is a massive hit.

I also appreciate their fast-casual ordering system that keeps things moving as quickly as possible.

The business also dedicates a portion of its profits to support local community initiatives. You can feel good about eating food that supports employee wellness and local purveyors.

That said, the line often extends out the door during prime weekend hours. You’ll likely face a wait before grabbing a seat for those piping hot plates. If you hate waiting, you might prefer grabbing fried chicken elsewhere.

Pros

  • Scratch-made comfort food
  • Local farm ingredients
  • Fast-casual system
  • Supports community initiatives

Cons

  • Long lines on weekends

Was a modern, energetic spot for a quick and unforgettable breakfast. The vibrant, stylish space buzzes with life from the moment I stepped in. The staff was cool and friendly. Whether you’re a visiting traveler on a tight schedule or a local brunch enthusiast, this location hits all the right notes.

Pro Tip: Get there early! Lines build fast, but it’s worth the wait.

Fast and friendly service. Only a few minutes wait to order, pay, and be seated. You get to leave right when you’re done because you already paid. My husband and I both got the chicken with biscuit. I had the East Nasty and my husband had the Princess which was spicy. Great place to stop for brunch.

Website: https://www.midtowncafe.com

Address: 102 19th Avenue, South, Nashville, TN 37203

Contact: 615.320.7176

Hours: Breakfast: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm (every day), Lunch: 10:30 am – 2:00 pm (Mon – Fri), Brunch: 10:30 am – 2:00 pm (Sat & Sun), New Dinner Hours: 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm (Mon – Sat)

Midtown Cafe provides an intimate, art-lined dining environment that feels incredibly cozy. This local staple offers a more refined, upscale morning meal compared to typical casual eateries. I had a morning meeting here recently, and the quiet setting was simply perfect for talking.

They feature a locally recognized lemon poppyseed pancake dish dripping with sweet syrup.

The restaurant also offers a complimentary shuttle service to downtown hotels and venues. This thoughtful perk makes getting around the city much easier on a full stomach.

One downside is their split daily operating hours. This schedule limits your access during the late afternoon. You’ll just need to plan your visit around their specific service times.

Pros

  • Intimate art-lined setting
  • Famous lemon poppyseed pancakes
  • Complimentary downtown shuttle
  • Quiet and comfortable

Cons

  • Split daily operating hours

Glad our hotel bartender recommended we stop in for brunch as this is definitely a cool old local hangout. Love that they haven’t the tucked aside little bar for a variety of seating, and enjoyed the intimate and vibrant brunch crowd on game day. Meals were all tasty and appreciated that they split our omelette dish for us. The grits were out of site by the way. Get n if u can while in town and go w friends…have a bloody, and get ur day going right! PS – the little house biscuits were a welcome addition.

Food, incredible- we actually went for brunch and dinner on the same day. Definitely a can’t miss kinda place food wise. It’s small intimate cafe but offers big flavors. The service was just okay though but the food makes up for that

Address: 208 Commerce St, Nashville, TN 37201

Contact: 615-913-3923

Hours: Mon – Sun: 7:00 am – 2:00 pm

Another Broken Egg Cafe features a chef-inspired morning menu filled with savory, seasonal specialties. They’ve also got a wide selection of hand-crafted morning cocktails from their full bar. The cold, spiked coffees are a massive hit for kicking off weekend celebrations.

The kitchen serves generous, shareable portion sizes that satisfy big appetites. Their extensive menu easily accommodates various dietary preferences, including tasty gluten-friendly options. They frequently introduce fresh, seasonal menu items that rotate throughout the year.

Unfortunately, the restaurant closes early in the afternoon. This restricts your later dining options if you prefer a mid-afternoon meal. Arriving before noon guarantees you won’t feel rushed while eating your eggs.

Pros

  • Chef-inspired seasonal menu
  • Wide selection of cocktails
  • Generous portion sizes
  • Gluten-friendly options

Cons

  • Closes early in the afternoon
  • No late dining available

The menu is SO impressive so our group of 6 was thrilled to try it. We were more than pleasantly surprised to have a real country boy as our server. Morgan made our experience top notch! He gave wonderful recommendations when we asked, and even offered to split our check. We would return for the biscuit beignets, hash brown Benedict & cinnamon roll French toast…. but also just to see Morgan!! What a wonderful brunch experience! Thank you!!

Our brunch was excellent. Our server Morgan was great! He made sure we had everything we needed and was very attentive. We will definitely be back! Food was so good we couldn’t get a pic of food before we finished!

Website: https://www.suzywongsnashville.com

Address: 1519 Church St, Nashville, TN 37203

Contact: 615-329-2913

Hours: Fri: Noon, Sat: 10:30 am & 1:00 pm, Sun: 1:00 pm

Suzy Wong’s Drag’n Brunch combines interactive, choreographed drag entertainment with bold, flavorful food. You get a vibrant, high-energy party atmosphere perfect for big celebrations. Their unique Asian-fusion menu truly stands out with spicy, savory bites.

You’ll enjoy live performances from talented local entertainers right alongside your meal. If you want more diverse food options later, explore other Asian restaurants in Nashville. They also offer large-format, fruity beverage pitchers designed for sharing with groups.

The main drawback is their very limited, weekend-only operating hours. Booking a table requires advance planning since these dazzling shows fill up fast. The experience is incredibly fun if you secure a reservation early.

Pros

  • Interactive live entertainment
  • Unique Asian-fusion menu
  • High-energy party atmosphere
  • Large-format beverage options

Cons

  • Limited weekend hours
  • Advance planning required

We had a Bach trip and came here for brunch. It was so enjoyable and had such a great experience. Love how they are not focused on just grabbing tips, but making it an experience and showing their talents. This one is so much better then Lips in Atlanta. This show needs to come to Georgia! Food was so yummy and seemed so fresh. Wonderful experience! Highly recommend.

Had a GREAT time at the drag brunch! It’s a bit off the beaten track – especially if you are making your own way there, like I did (vs the excursion buses). Initially we thought we had the wrong place because it looked like a virtually empty bar with pool tables, but that was just the bar area before you get taken through to the adjacent venue for the brunch. The performers were engaging, funny and actually very talented. Super funny and great energy. No regrets here, I’m glad we were able to go and check it out. Recommend!
