We attended this past Sunday night’s bluegrass jam. What a treat! At one point they had 18 musicians up there including a banjo, a mandolin, drums and lots, and lots of guitars. Great music for 2 and 1/2 hours. Highly, highly recommend!

Went for the Sunday night jam. A lot of fun. If you really want to hear the jam session, I advise arriving later- perhaps around 8 pm. By then, some of the tourists start to peel off and the bar line is shorter. You will be able to grab a beer and get a better seat without lining up at 6pm. Also, the musicians start to gel more as the evening wears on, so the music gets better after an hour or so.

Wow! Stumbled across this while walking to another venue and so glad we did. Some of the best entertainment we’ve seen and heard in Nashville. Original songs performed by very talented original artists. Very intimate, relaxing and enjoyable alternative to bars or honkytonks. Try the chicken and waffles for a delicious brunch. Service was top-notch too.

This was our favorite part of our trip to Nashville. Every song they played was really good and it was fun listening to their stories. The artist wrote so many to hits! I recommend getting their early to get good seats. I got the sangria which was too sweet so I mixed it with water. The chicken wings were good.

Lower Broadway constantly changes, but Robert’s Western World fiercely protects the city’s older musical roots. They actively skip modern pop tracks to focus entirely on traditional country and western swing. The atmosphere feels like stepping back into an older, more authentic version of the city.
I visited last week and can confirm their famous six-dollar recession meal deal remains a fantastic bargain. You’ll get a fried bologna sandwich, chips, and a cold Pabst Blue Ribbon while enjoying the lively show.
The venue also holds a top rating as a musician-friendly workplace, ensuring artists get paid fairly. You can walk right in without paying a cover charge to hear their incredibly consistent house bands.
Just remember that the crowd shifts to strictly twenty-one and up after six in the evening. Families traveling with younger kids will need to visit earlier in the day to catch the bands before age restrictions begin.

Stepping into Printers Alley brings a surprising flash of New Orleans right into central Tennessee. Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar’s wrought-iron balconies and glowing neon signs perfectly recreate the lively, vibrant energy of the French Quarter.
The club provides a much-needed break from the usual acoustic guitars by blasting authentic blues and boogie music. This famous stage has hosted absolute icons like James Brown over its twenty-five years in business.
They also run a very popular open jam session every Monday night for visiting musicians.
Parents taking a quick break from shuffling their kids to swimming lessons will definitely appreciate the strong signature cocktails. You can grab a great spot on the upper balcony to eat Cajun food and watch the downstairs stage comfortably.
However, plan your evening budget carefully because management strictly enforces a two-drink minimum for all guests. You’ll also encounter mandatory admission fees if you arrive after seven during the weekend, adding to your base costs.

Absolutely loved this place. The music was incredible and so fun. Definitely recommend getting there early to get a seat. We had great seats on the top floor looking down from the railing. Service was good and the 1 waitress was doing amazing. I loved that she straight up told us, if its too busy just go to the bar and order a drink instead of wait for me. Shrimp was delicious, my only complaint, I wish it came with more! I devoured them.

Just be aware that the single-level floor plan gets extremely cramped during peak tourist hours. You’ll definitely end up standing shoulder-to-shoulder in the crowd because the loud space simply lacks enough bar stools for everyone.
Legends Corner is one of the best spots on Broadway for authentic Nashville live music. The bands are always talented, the energy is high, and the atmosphere feels like true honky tonk country.
It definitely leans toward a more classic country vibe, especially with the steel guitars and traditional sound that really capture the heart of old-school Nashville. It’s a great place to grab a drink, enjoy incredible live music, and soak in the downtown vibe. Every time we stop in, it’s a fun experience.

Great bands! It’s packed! So be prepared for a crowd. Shots are just as expensive as a mixed drink, which seems a little crazy. Cool be to be a part of the crowd & experience it. Two bars. Second bar wasn’t nearly as packed. I was ID’d twice, which seemed weird because they stamp your hand when they ID you at the door. Neat experience. Wouldn’t recommend drinking a lot here, it’ll burn through your wallet. But fun to check out the live music.
