I actually went to a close friend’s rehearsal dinner here recently, and the intimate energy made everyone feel right at home the second they walked in. 

Plus, the staff handled all the heavy lifting. The family just got to sit back and appreciate how the raw, rough-hewn cabin walls looked right next to an elegant, candlelit dining setup. 

They strictly cap the guest list at 95 people, though. So, if you are planning a massive, blowout celebration, this spot won’t quite fit the bill.

The permanently tented rooftop observatory is a huge highlight. You get to enjoy spectacular waterfront views without worrying about sudden rainstorms ruining the night. 

Inside, the industrial-chic Cumberland space acts as a brilliant blank canvas for your design ideas, and they partner exclusively with a top hospitality group for incredible catering. 

One thing to think about, though, is their multi-floor layout. Since the levels are separate, you will need to plan your timeline carefully so guests aren’t scattered and isolated from the main party.

This location is beautiful and provides the WOW factor.  We had our corporate logo imaged on the pedestrian bridge – It was amazing!  The food was absolutely 

delicious.   The planning process was made easier with their coordinators.  This location worked perfectly for our event of 120+ guests.

Incredible location overlooking the Cumberland River with a perfect view of downtown Nashville. The venue is on multiple levels, each with a different vibe. Outdoor areas exist on the first floor and the roof. Adjacent to the walking bridge, it’s easy to get to downtown before or after your event.

Beautifully restored from a 1930s-era church, Emerson Hall stands out for its breathtaking vaulted ceilings. 

The main 4,200-square-foot floor gets flooded with natural light, warming up the gorgeous hardwood floors and setting a welcoming mood for upscale events.

At the same time, this hall also shines as a venue for its robust all-inclusive packages that seriously cut down on your planning time. Their on-site catering and an attached boutique hotel make hosting out-of-town guests incredibly easy. 

I actually toured the lower-level lounge recently while helping a colleague map out a launch party. Their large horseshoe bar and booming in-house surround sound naturally draw people in to grab a drink and mingle. 

Just keep in mind that those strong architectural details give the room a very specific look, so it might clash if you want a stark, minimalist design.

This venue was perfect

It was great to see the performance of Edgar Allen Poe Speakeasy II in the performers hometown. This venue was perfect for the event for both convenience & theme. They really brought the art to life.

Can’t wait to do it again!

Fun! The food and drink pairings were impressive. Was hoping for a bit more of a “show”, maybe with a fun performance that drew the crowd in, but it didn’t really need it with such great food. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Loved their costumes. Can’t wait to do it again!

5. Wilburn Street Studio

Tucked inside an old 1912 goods store, Wilburn Street Studio features exposed brick walls indoors that lead right out into a massive, grassy private backyard and a string-lit patio. 

Best of all, they let you hire whoever you want. This flexibility means you can bring in your favorite local caterer or hire one of the best security companies in Nashville without fighting a strict preferred vendor list. 

They also include a massive inventory of in-house furniture. Here, you have access to rustic wood benches and a movable bar to help keep your rental costs down. 

You do need to consider their space limit, as they strictly cap seated events at exactly 200 people. Large corporate galas are definitely not suited here.

Smoothest wedding day I could have ever imagined

The WSS team was amazing. They were so communicative and supportive for all my wacky requests. The space felt warm, inviting and comfortable. I love the ability to turn the space into whatever we want. They were ALWAYS in board. We utilized the full space with the smoothest wedding day I could have ever imagined. Ceremony outdoors, moved directly into cocktail hour outdoors, then reception inside.

The team kept my vision alive and I wish I could do it over again with all of them!
