Booking a session shouldn’t feel intimidating, which is exactly why this permanent commercial studio in Historic Germantown focuses so deeply on self-love and healing rather than strictly provocative imagery.

They prioritize a completely private, comfortable environment by ensuring every professional you interact with is female. You arrive and let their in-house experts handle all your professional hair and makeup preparation.

The owner, Caley, specializes in directing clients who feel awkward on camera, removing any need for prior modeling experience. She expertly guides every single facial expression and body movement to help you feel your absolute best.

When a close friend booked her shoot here to celebrate a major health milestone, she felt completely transformed by the incredibly supportive atmosphere.

You do need to prepare for a significant financial commitment, though. The $499 session fee covers the shoot itself, but you must purchase all final images and artwork separately, making the total minimum investment quite high.

Pros

  • All-female professional team
  • Dedicated private commercial studio
  • In-house professional styling
  • Focuses on empowerment and healing

Cons

  • High minimum total investment
  • Often booked three months out
  • Germantown studio location

Customer Reviews

Experiencing this session gave me more than just confidence, it gave me a greater sense of home in my body. I think there are parts of myself that I avoided seeing for fear of disappointment. Having the chance to really see all of myself in the photos helped me find a greater attachment to the body I have and as a result a greater sense of home. I am so grateful for this gift.

I couldn’t recommend Caley enough. She goes above and beyond to make your experience safe, comfortable, and fun. Not only is the photoshoot extremely professional, her personality and dedication to her craft shines. Her skill level is top notch and my photos turned out better than I ever could have imagined.

Address: 419 Scott Avenue

Contact: (629) 276-6450 / [email protected]

Hours: Monday to Saturday, By Appointment Only

Finding a high-touch sanctuary that truly celebrates your natural beauty is rare, but this award-winning East Nashville studio delivers a flawless full-service luxury experience.

Holly seamlessly integrates her own size-inclusive fine lingerie boutique right into the process. With this, you have access to perfectly fitted, high-end wardrobe options directly on-site.

I love how their all-female team focuses on an “Everyday to Slay” philosophy that enhances your features through expert styling. They don’t rely on heavy digital manipulation.

They also welcome a diverse clientele by offering specialized masculine boudoir and couple sessions alongside their traditional portraiture, by the way.

Just pay attention to their stringent preparation policies before your appointment date arrives. For instance, arriving with a spray tan or self-tanner violates their contract terms and will result in the immediate cancellation of your session without a refund.

Pros

  • Award-winning local reputation
  • Comprehensive on-site styling
  • Size-inclusive wardrobe access
  • Offers masculine and couple sessions

Cons

  • High price point
  • Strict pre-session preparation rules

Customer Reviews

From start to finish, my boudoir session was easily one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Holly and staff made me feel comfortable, beautiful, and so very sexy! I’ve wanted to do a session for a long time and am so glad I chose Holly! She is the ultimate hype girl and so amazing! If you’re on the fence about it because you feel like you need to have the “perfect” body before committing, stop that nonsense and just go for it. You will not regret it!

Hands down the most fun I’ve ever had in a boudoir experience. Holly was amazing with talking me through poses, hyping me up, and making me feel like my baddest self. If you’re nervous or questioning if you should do the shoot. Just do it. You’ll feel so at ease with Holly. I can’t wait for my photos to get back to me and to find another excuse to book a shoot.

At Boudoir Nashville, lead photographer Angela Seats holds advanced industry certifications, guaranteeing a supreme level of technical mastery for your portraits.

Stepping in front of a lens feels incredibly natural when you work with a Certified Professional Photographer who tailors her entire approach around the everyday woman.

I dropped by Angela’s private home studio, and loved how it features multiple diverse sets. There’s also a professional makeup styling by an artist with extensive celebrity experience.

They have a supportive environment here, proving that age and body size do not define beauty, catering heavily to clients in their thirties through their sixties. They even run a private group to foster ongoing encouragement and connection among past clients.

While the service clearly targets the Nashville market, the studio itself is actually located slightly outside the city limits in Mt. Juliet. You’ll definitely need to factor in some extra travel time to get here.

Pros

  • Elite technical photographer certifications
  • Celebrity-level hair and makeup
  • Detailed, precise posing guidance
  • Inclusive focus on everyday women

Cons

  • Located outside downtown Nashville
  • Limited session availability

Customer Reviews

I had such a great experience working with Angela. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel comfortable, confident, and completely at ease. Her guidance, eye for detail, and calm energy made the entire shoot feel natural and enjoyable. She truly knows how to bring out the best in her clients and capture beautiful, authentic images. I’m so grateful for the experience and can’t wait to see the rest of the digitals. I would absolutely love to work with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional and talented photographer.

Angela does an amazing job at making you feel comfortable with yourself. She takes amazing pictures and has awesome package prices. If you have always wanted to do a boudoir shoot and keep putting it off because you are nervous, just take the leap and do it. You will feel amazing

Walking into a massive 3,100-square-foot dedicated studio designed with stunning, home-like environments instantly elevates your entire portrait experience.

The Adore Girls’ wonder, Jamie Pfister and her all-female team, bring over 14 years of expertise to the table. They create a thoroughly comfortable space tailored specifically for modern intimate photography.

When I inquired, the team was incredibly reassuring and explained their unique same-day product delivery system. This streamlined process allows you to take your beautiful artwork home the same day you view your images.

However, they enforce very strict guest restrictions to maintain maximum privacy for everyone in the building. Friends or partners can’t be present during the actual shoot and must wait outside once your hair and makeup are done.

On the plus side, I love how they make these high-end sessions more accessible by offering fantastic long-term payment plans for up to a full year.

Pros

  • Over a decade of specialization
  • Large 3,100-square-foot facility
  • Same-day product pickup at debut
  • Accessible long-term payment plans

Cons

  • Non-refundable booking fee
  • Strict no-guest policy during shoot

Customer Reviews

I can’t say enough about my experience with The Adore Girls! Even though mentally I was prepared and open and excited about the experience, they’re still those day of jitters and nervousness. Not 5 minutes after stepping foot in the place, all that went away. Jaime helped pick out my outfits from the 10+ that I brought and hair and make up was just amazing!! I felt like a million bucks. The cozy atmosphere of the older home and the aesthetic of each set just made everything feel homey and comfortable. Can’t wait for my next session!

This was so much fun & was my first time. I definitely want to do it again. They make you feel so comfortable during the whole process from hair & make up all the way to your debut. It’s all about you!

5. Wilde Company

wilde-company

Website: http://www.wilde-company.com/

Address: 3511 Gallatin Pike Suite 302

Contact: 615-600-1581

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Saturday to Sunday 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Embracing your most authentic self requires a photographer who actively champions radical inclusivity and completely safe spaces above all else.

Wilde Company is a studio that focuses on capturing raw, genuine moments. They operate under a firm, empowering belief that all bodies are undeniably good bodies.

To help you feel absolutely comfortable on set, they provide extensive pre-session support through detailed guides and preliminary video calls.

As for the creative process, it feels deeply collaborative, expertly blending natural lifestyle images with highly emotive artistic portraiture.

The owner, Amy, has managed the business since 2011. She brings a seasoned and intuitive eye to every single intimate session, leaning into documentary-style aesthetics.

However, this raw, authentic style might not fit clients who are seeking traditional, high-glamour airbrushed images. Their portrait sessions also start at a slightly higher entry price point compared to standard local mini-sessions.

Pros

  • Inclusive and body-positive
  • Extensive pre-session comfort support
  • Fast initial image preview turnaround
  • Over a decade of operational experience

Cons

  • Higher starting portrait price point
  • Specific raw, non-traditional aesthetic

Customer Reviews

Amy and Charles captured incredible photos during our engagement session and wedding. But equally importantly, they were wonderful to work with: highly skilled but also easygoing, communicative, and kind. They made us feel comfortable and were a joy to have as a part of the team on our big day. Many thanks!

Picking a photographer for our engagement photos was like finding a needle in a haystack, but it was definitely worth the effort. Amy was extremely helpful and accomodating, in addition to being super creative. We got exactly what we wanted for our session, and can’t imagine being more thrilled with our results.
